I just put my chair together in about 15 minutes. The seat width with arm rests is 21" not 23" as stated. The packaging my chair came in was inadequate at best. There were several scuff marks and even a hole in my fabric. The chair is very sturdy though. I would have liked to see something other than a plastic base for a big/tall chair though. If you are a large guy and you are looking for a big chair this is not it. I give it two stars only because it is a heavy duty chair, but it shouldn't be advertised as a big/tall chair.

My son has broken ordinary chairs about every 3 years. A "normal" chair is good for body weights up to about 250 pounds. Since my son weighs over 265 the steel bracket would always bust. He also found there wasn't enough lower back support or stability in the chairs. This one is different however. The seat is wide enough to hold his size very comfortably, has great lower back support that is out of this world. All he could say is WOW, when he first sat down. I would have liked to see thicker steel underneath, simply due to his previous history with chairs. But in all fairness, I've never purchased a chair for him that was built as strong as this one (although I'd still like to see more). Overall, my son who is 6'3", over 265 pounds has really liked this chair in the 2 months he has owned it. It could break tomorrow, but he gives it 5 stars over his ordinary chairs that he has owned prior.

Bought this chair a few weeks ago when it was on sale with free shipping and 15% off. Really easy to put together took less then 15 minutes to put together alone. Really comfortable and has good back support. Well worth investing in if you are on the computer or have to sit long periods of time at work.

Well packaged, it arrived before the estimated day. The parts, manual and leather in very good condition. The price excellent for a Big and Tall Executive Chair, you don't need extra tools to assemble it, they give you the tool to do it and a set of extra screws are include for replacement. I am really very happy with this chair and if you want something great for a reasonable price, just pick this chair and you won't regret it.
Follow the instructions carefully and don't tie the screws until you have all the parts on its place.
