This is great for cleaning floors without any grout or grooves. I purchased it for tile and it doesn't clean the grout very well. Also wanted something that doesn't use chemicals, which it is great for. The pads get dirty very fast,(after about one room)even if you vacuum very well. It falls down when put in the standing position, the handle broke already. Given the opportunity I will purchase something else in the future.

Quick and easy clean-up. No dulling chemicals used as with many of the "disposable mops". Love it.

I recently purchased this on-line and when I received it, I used it on my tile kitchen floor. This product is the worst mop I have ever used. It stated on an informarcial that it will pick up any kind of dirt residue, which it did not. They also mentioned that the pads were washer safe and when I took it out of my washing machine (after using ALL laundry detergent and Oxy Clean), the dirt was still on the pad. I would never recommend anyone perchasing this steam mop. If you are looking for a mop to clean your floors and you do not want to have a sticky residue after cleaning it, try the Mr Clean Magic Reach, that is the best product to clean floors quickly.

This is a great little tool. I got it for my bathroom, seeing how it has a white ceramic tile floor. It worked fabulously and was so easy to use.

I tried it on my acrylic kitchen floor and was less impressed. In it's defense my floor has had it. It certainly removed all traces of dirt but it looked dull and hazy when I was through. Plus it was sticking if there wasn't enough steam.

I read a few reviews that implied the handle was flimsy, I agree, it is. I think it'll hold up if I use caution.

Overall, I'm quite happy with it and will certainly be using it far more than my ol' mop.

I LOVE it. So much simpler than mopping, no hassle at all. Very quiet and easy to use. Made my floors feel cleaner than ever! Dried quickly and small for storage.

I purchased this item today, brought it home and put it together in just a few minutes. I read a few reviews that were negative and a few that were positive, so I thought I would give it a try and worst case, just take it back.

NO WAY I'M TAKIN' THIS ONE BACK! I love it!! I've been looking for something that won't streak my hardwood floors - (I had a wet jet) It only takes 30 seconds before the mop is ready and it gets up dog grime, and cleans up really well after 2 boys under the age of 4. I love that it's safe - no chemicals to worry about - you may remember reading some things about that with the wet jet, don't know if it was true, but better safe than sorry ya know.

I'm also running a daycare out of my home and this is the best way to clean - fast and easy and really safe!

Anyway, go buy it! You'll love it! Happy Cleaning!

I've just bought a Shark Steam Mop and for me, it's the best thing I've used for tile, wood, marble floors! I actually saw how it disolves the dirt & grime in our kitchen floor. Our whole downstairs area is of light beige to almost white tiles. Very high maintenance cleaning needed in these areas. But with the shark steamm mop, dirt, stains and grimes etc, actaully disolves all these and now my floor is shinny, clean and sanitized. Highly recommended!!!

I bought the shark. I first found out about the mop looking through the sales ad. It was actually the first time I had ever seen a steam mop. I thought with two big dogs, ceramic, and laminate wood flooring, it would be great. I hate scrubbing on hands and knees. This looked like the answer to my prayers. I liked it for the ceramic, but it left streaks on the wood floor. I think I'm going to take it back and get a different brand that allows you to add vinager. I DID not use distilled water like it said. That may have been my problem. But the cord is so short. So, I will take it back and try one more steam mop, before I go back to scrubbing on hands and knees. I would love to keep it for my ceramic tile, but that would be silly, since it doesn't clean my wood well.

I purchased the Steam Mop today and I absolutely love it. I have 2 friends that have recently purchased it and they talked me into it.
I can see where others were weary because the handle does bow a little, but I'm a very petite woman and I don't think I could break it if I tried.
I wish I would have purchased the extra pads though. I did my entire upstairs (hardwood and ceramic tile) and wanted to do my downstairs (ceramic tile entry way and laundry room) but the pads were too dirty.
I was able to loosen some grout that the tile layer got on my tile in the bathroom. Plus, the hair spray residue came right up.

I am truly in love with this cleaner.

I was a little worried when I bought this because of the handle issues and other bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I just moved into a new house and I don't think that the old owners ever really mopped their floors. I swiffered my floors 3 times and scrubbed the floors (laminate wood & tile) and couldn't get this weird streaky film off until I used the Shark. If it can get my floors clean to my OCD cleaning standards then you will love it too!
