Do NOT spend your money March 27, 2008 Reviewer:  D. Rhodes Real Name See all my reviews >

Do NOT spend your money on this piece of garbage. The pads get dirty super quick, so you're pushing dirt all over your floor. As soon as I got to the second pad, the handle snapped in half! I have owned this thing for 20 minutes! My swiffer is built more study than this, and I have no idea why this thing costs $80. It left streaks all over my floor and it looks awful. Save your money and get something else. Heck, even a Swiffer will do a better job.

great for pet owners March 26, 2008 Reviewer:  mastiffmomma "Tonya" (Milton, Florida)  See all my reviews >

I have white tile threw out my house & 3 english mastiffs that drool & when it dries I have to really scrub it up. I did like it said & went slow & pumped it over the drool & it came right up. Handle is fine since I don't have to scrub with it. No more changing water in ever room b/c water is dirty & streaking & breaking my back scrubbing. It also leaves a fresh clean smell instead of chemical smell. It dries fast & I use it every other day. I love it.

I was soooo dissapointed March 25, 2008 Reviewer:  Gadget lady "Earlene" (Boston, Ma)  See all my reviews >

I am a gadget person so when I saw this being demoed on TV I watched amazed at how it cleaned the marks from the wood floor. NOT. You have to push really hard and then it does not remove any stains at all. It did clean the kitchen floor but not as clean as the mop and a floor cleaner. I was so dissapointed.

Cheaply made March 23, 2008 Reviewer:  Leslie A. See all my reviews >

I read the reviews before buying this product but bought it anyway. The first time I used the product, it was great. It cleaned well and I liked not having to use chemicals. It was somewhat of a pain to plug in several different places but overall, I was pleased. Then on the second time to clean, the handle broke off at the bottom of the mop (before the water reservoir). It is no longer usable (of course). I have not even had this product for 1 month [...]: this product is WAY too expensive for how cheaply it is made.

Amazing March 19, 2008 Reviewer:  Happy Mom See all my reviews >

This is the first review I have ever done but this product was just to good not to mention. Bought it from local Target store. No it isn't cheap, but it really works! We have alot of hardwood and some tile. It really gets up the dirt, is so easy to use, and even works on sticky messes that the swiffer just ignored. I have never had such a great product for floors. Now cleaning them is more of a pleasure instead of dreaded chore.

How does it do.... March 18, 2008 Reviewer:  C. Torrey Real Name See all my reviews >

on laminate floors? I've had laminate floors for over 2 years and they are tough to clean.

Thanks!

Almost didn't buy, happy I did March 16, 2008 Reviewer:  S. Brown Real Name (Austin, TX USA)  See all my reviews >

I almost didn't buy this because of some of the negative reviews, but my experience has been fine.

No streaks, but I used distilled water as the directions suggested. (Just like you'd use for a steam iron.) There was one line of residue at the end, but that swept up in a second.

Flimsy handle? Perhaps if you are the Hulk. I just followed the directions and went slowly and gently. The handle "gives" a bit because that's what releases the steam as you push.

I also liked how quickly the floor dried -- almost immediately!

BTW - the reviews are useful -- even the negative ones, since no product is perfect -- good to know what you are getting in to!

Shark Steam Mop March 15, 2008 Reviewer:  E. Senden Real Name See all my reviews >

I just purchased this at our local Target store. Unlike the other reviews I found this product to work exceptionally well. It was light, glided super easy and did a great job. My entire condo is light tile and even hard to remove scuff marks came off easily. The cord is longer than most. The only negative was that I had to refill the water in the steam compartment a few time but in comparison to filling a bucket it was a cinch. I think this is a great product.

Dissappointed March 14, 2008 Reviewer:  cautious shopper "DVP" (TX)  See all my reviews >

I can only give it one star because it actually turns on. It is very hard to push on the floor because of the friction of the dampness and dry floor. It skips occationally. You have to go really, really slow. It claims that it won't leave a residue and indeed it does. It comes with two pads and I changed them both because I thought maybe it was too dirty. I will return it. What a waist! Not worth the money at all!

Too much money for a mop that does not work! March 14, 2008 Reviewer:  Target Shopper "Sally Lee" (West Palm Beach, Fl)  See all my reviews >

I bought this mop yesterday. Couldn't wait to get home and try it out. Putting it together was easy, but the handle is very flimsy. I was afraid I was going to break it, putting it on. I filled up the tank and waited the recommended 30sec. It started to steam and I started to clean. It LOOKED like it was cleaning. I did a couple of test swipes on my tile floors. First the mop did not dry as the commerical states. They were WET. I had to dry the floor with a towel. I also noticed that the pad was not dirty, and I know that my floors are. AFter drying I noticed that floors were streaked. Badly. I don't have shiny floors, but this made my floors so dull and dingy that they look dirty. Not to mention that they were tacky to the touch. I only used water. This bothers me as well. How can you really clean without using some cleaner? I will be returning this back to the store. It was too much money to waste on a mop!
