I am upset I spent $ on this steam mop! I had purchased the Lysol steam mop for half the price to see if I liked the steam mop idea, and after several months I decided I LOVED it and wanted to try to upgrade to something maybe a bit more industrial. Well, I should have stuck with what worked! The washable mop pads are really thick and cushiony, but the pad hardly gets wet enough to clean up sticky messes without several several several passes with the mop. My lysol mop does get much wetter, but really doesn't take more than 5 minutes to dry, and usually gets the spilt juice/jelly/etc up in one pass! I am hanging the Shark steam mop up permanently. The whole purpose of steam mopping is effective sterilization and cleaning in one pass, not having to re-do the job only to have marginally clean floors. No thanks!

After reading the reviews I went out and bought one. I just used it and it's awesome! It does what it says. The people that say it leaves a puddle must have purchased a defective one because mine steams and dries almost instantly. My laminate tile is the cleanest it's ever been. I also have pets and it picked up the hair like a magnet. I wish i would have bought one sooner!

After reading reviews, I decided not to buy this thing. My mom, however, bought one for me. I really wanted to like it, but it got returned after one use. It did not have enough steam, nor did it get the floor clean. It also was tougher to push around the house than a microfiber mop. Seemed cheaply made and gimicky. I also did not like that it is corded.

It is so light weight and convenient to use. My son and husband are always tracking mud into the house, and this is much easier then the old mop and pail, to pull out of the closet to clean up the day to day messes. I wouldn't trade this mop for anything!

This steam mop works great on tile and I would highly recommend it for that use.
I read all the positive/negative reviews prior to purchasing it.
I steam cleaned both my tiled bathroom floors and they are pristine.
It was fun, easy and rewarding.
It heats up in 30 seconds!
It is lightweight, so you have to be aware that plastic is breakable, but I have no complaints.

I am really dissapointed with this product. It does not clean my floors! It took me 10 minutes of breaking my back trying to mop my small kitchen floor and then the tank ran out of water! It also takes forever to heat up and create steam. I am also very upset because I lost the receipt and Target refuses to even exchange it! We are a family of 5 and are on a tight budget and I just threw away [.....]!! Absolutely not worth it!! The pads also do not get clean in the washing machine, even after washing them twice in a row just by themselves! I previously owned a Shark bare floor vac and that stopped picking up something as small as a breadcrump after only 1 week of use! I should have learned my lesson, but instead I wasted my money on this piece of garbage as well!

If you would have asked me a couple of days ago, I would have told you I loved my steam mop. I have had it for a couple of months and just purchased extra pads and the carpet glider. Last night I was using it and it broke.... in half! I really think that it is a great concept, however, I think it could have been made a little more durable. I am just not sure that it is worth the money and now I am trying to decide if I should purchase a new one, or look for a better brand.

We have a 2,600 sf ft home with stained concrete flooring in over 75% of our house. I have had a hard time with a regular mop, I do ok with a wet rag on my hands and knees, but this steam mop works so well and my floors look and feel clean.

I just bought this item today. I have read the pros and cons. I do have to say it does clean the floor very well but it didn't clean the scuff marks on the floor like it said it would. I would recommend sweeping or vacuuming the floor before you use this product. I wouldn't recommend this product for some who has hard wood floors or tile. I think this product is better for laminates or linoleum floors. It definitely picked up a lot dirt even after I had just wash the floors with Mr. Clean and mop.

I have a baby who is just starting to crawl and so I knew that I needed to get something to steralize our all tile floors! I bought the Shark and I love it! I agree with the one review that said that if you don't know how to use it, it's hard to push. But if you understand that you have to prim it by pumping it a couple of times (like 10) then it glides on the floor! Yes it makes the floors wet.... umm... It is a MOP!! Mops tend to do that! I love this and it was well worth the money! I feel confident that my floors are clean and sanitary! And it works so well and so easily that I can mop the floors in my whole house everyday in about 20 minutes.
