I have to laugh at the people who say this thing is to hard to use..What these people are doing I have no idea-- it is so easy to use!!! The Shark is designed to use the pumping action of the handle to build up the pressure to produce the steam, if you dont pump it a few times first it wont give you steam and THUS making it hard to push... you just have to be smarter than the mop.. This thing is awesome.. I only wish that Target had the Carpet attachment you see when they do the infomercials... Buy the extra Pads its worth it as I use it everday and dont want to was the 2 pads every day... and folks, Im about as Rough and tumble a guy as you can be... but I like to be clean and this works!!!!

I heard great things about steam mops. I was NOT impressed by this one. I got it home, put it together and was excited about it being easy and having clean floors, but had to go back with my traditional micrfiber mop and floor cleaner and clean the floors again. It left the floors wet from the beginning, so it had nothing to do with the pad being too wet and when the floor did dry, it was streaked. The floor was also sticky. I do like the fact that the steam will sanitize, especially in the bathrooms, but it's not worth the money. I'll stick with my microfiber mop with my good smelling cleaner and return the steam mop.

I bought this and i love it! Some people complained but i dont see how. Mine doesnt push dirt around, you have to vaccumm first, maybe the vac didnt pick up the dirt the first go. The pads can go right into the washer when your done. I have matted tiles and glossy tiles i saw no streaking, i saw clean floors. I definately dont think the product is made cheap or flimsy i dont feel i could break mine, i have dropped and it still works great. The steam comes out when you push forward, otherwise at continuiuos steam then everyone would complain they had to fill it up every few minutes. Its 80.00 so in a sense you get what youpay for, if you want all the bells and whistles of indicator lights and what not they have biggier more expensive machines, but for 80.00 you can use this every single day without hassel. Cant see why its not getting great reviews.

I received this as a Christmas gift. I was really excited to try it because the person who bought it for me loves hers. It left streaks all over my floor. I get much better results with my microfiber mop; and that costs much much less! And I can agree with another reviewer; I found the cord irritating; but it may be that I usually go cordless. It's a great concept....but it needs to be reevaluated. Not good for laminate floors! I'm going to try to hunt down my box and take it back. It's not worth the money!!!!!!!

I just received this as a gift so I have to keep it. The only reason I gave this three starts is because I have figured out ways to make it clean a little better. However, the first time I used it this is what I experienced. I felt that the steam was not powerful enough to wet the floor. Not enough to clean it. In order to clean a floor you need water. Since the steam was so little the end result was streaks everywhere. My mother in law loves it. but she doesn't get much sunlight in her kitchen. In my kitchen I can stand at the edge of the tile and look into the sunlight and see the smallest dust particle...and streaks. I think that may be why some women feel this works so great, maybe they don't have the kind of light in their kitchens to really notice. Also, it does push dirt around... and not trap it as the commercial says. The handle is very flimsy. My thoughts on the sanitizing part is that although steam does sanitize I believe the floor would have to be immersed in the steam for more than the second or two that it would take to glide over the floor. I think that's just a gimmick. So this is how I got it to clean a little better. I wet the pad before putting it on the mop and then the steam keeps it continuously wet. Then when I'm finished. I rip the pad off rinse it out until the water runs clear and do it again. I hope this helps.

I bought this [...] and used it on my laminate wood floors. After cleaning with this I took a damp paper towel to wipe the area I had just cleaned. I was amazed at how much dirt was still on the floor. I ended up taking this back and stuck with my Bissell steam mop, which cleans the floors so much better. Not reccomended for clean freaks like me.

Runs out of steam if you don't keep it moving. Make sure your floor is completely swept before you start. Pads don't pick up very much like it says... It's okay. I paid for it so I'll keep using it but I'm so disappointed.

My husband bought me this since I LOVE to clean and LOVE to have a clean home. This mop is so much fun to use and honestly works great!! I use it in my bathrooms and it gets the hairspray off the floor. I use it in my kitchen and it cleans my tile and grout spotless. I use it in my laundry room and it gets all the detergent and dust from the laundry up. AND the best part is....it is sanitizing everything too! Yes it's not a deep cleaning mop and once in a while you should still deep clean your floors, but for the in between cleanings......IT'S WONDERFUL!!!

This product does not do the job it claims to do. I took a video of how badly it performed! Don't bother wasting your money if you have tile with any texture to it. It won't clean it! And it streaks the flat tile horribly. In short, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Here is the link to the website:

I live in a rental home & the tile floors look like they haven't been cleaned. This mop is getting the surface dirt, but I need a billion pads to deep clean the whole floor! But my family can feel that the floor is cleaner. If you have new tiles or just a clean floor to start with this mop is great. I let mine warm up a few minutes and lots of steam comes out. If there is a spot hold the mop over it a few seconds longer and it comes up. I enjoy this mop, it's quick, easy, and I don't have to buy anything else for it. I just wash the pads and everything is ready for next time.
