I highly reccomend this Shark Steam Mop. I did a lot a research before I bought it and was very hesitant, but I am so glad I didn't listen to some of the bad reveiws. This mopping system won't replace mopping entirely - you're still going to have to do a really good cleaning on it once in a while to get the deep down dirt, but this is great for everyday use. I have two dogs, a cat and a husband who track everthing on our tile floors in the kitchen and this gets it all clean! It's so much easier than the Swiffer or mop & bucket!!

I'm not completly sold yet. I think it is VERY hard to push - but a great ab workout! It did clean pretty well, but it is not as great as it looks on t.v. I do like the fact that there are no chemicals to use around my children & pets. It is very quiet,and my floors were dry right away. I think it is a little pricey, but I will probably keep mine.

Cleanes really well but it doesn't rest against the wall well. we stored ours propped between frdge & wall & when it fell over the shaft snapped in two when it hit the floor.

I LOVE MY SHARK.

It gets up that grim and film that never seems to want to get gone!

It's so easy to use, I taught my husband within a few minutes and he uses it to clean the bathrooms all the time now. When before he would neglect to clean them and hope I wouldn't notice. But now they are spotless!

I use this on my hardwood, my bamboo rugs, as well as 3 differnt kinds of tiles that have grout. It doesn't clean the grout very well but I have yet to find anything that does!

I received this Steam Mop as a Christmas gift. I have only used it once and have no other steam mops to compare it to, but I thought it did a pretty good job. The steam dries quickly, the power cord is long, and it cleaned a really tough dirt spot off my Pergo floors that I couldn't get up with a regular sponge mop. Since I didn't buy this item for myself, I was a little surprised at how expensive it was. I personally wouldn't have spent that much for a Shark product. I gave it only three stars because it's made cheaply and takes a ton of water/steam to really clean well.

In a word, this mop [STINKS]. I purchased it last week and when I went to use it today, nothing. No steam, no water, nothing at all. I called Shark customer service, and after some message in French about a sewing machine, I was forwarded to a customer service agent who less than helpful. He was hard to understand, not polite and practically yelled at me when I couldn't find the date code on the box. He then proceeded to tell me to ship the mop in for service, which would cost me $ plus insurance. I said NO THANKS! I will be returning this mop ASAP. Stick with Swiffer, it works great and the price is right.

I just bought this mop a few weeks ago. We have hardwood floors all through the house with a high gloss finish, so as soon as there is sunlight in the house - you can see EVERY mark that is on the floor. I bought this to try it out, and I noticed if you keep rubbing in the same spot for too long then it gets too wet, so after a minute go back over it one or twice and it dries immediately. So I used this all over the floor, and it definitely cleaned the area very well, because afterwards I mopped the floor, and the water was clean. The only downfall is that is done not leave that nice glossy shine that you get after mopping. But its great to use if you have guests coming over, and for a quick clean.

I really only had one complaint about it and that was it doesn't swivel but besides that it work great for me. I have ceramic tile throughout my house and four kids so it is very useful!

Love it. floors are sparkling clean without leaving a residue. My only problem is that it's hard to clean the cloths and I already need to order new ones.

I got this mop 7 months ago and I still love it!! I use it to clean my tile floors. The first time I got it, I was a little scared because I kept coming up with dark black pads!! I had to clean my kitchen floors with 10 separate pads before it was clean!! I had no idea my floors were so filthy!! What I didn't realize was that with regular mopping, it doesn't get up the dirt that collects in the grout!! The steam of this mop gets up all that collected dirt!! I love walking around barefoot, and before with other mops the floors never felt completley clean to me after mopping. The Shark mop makes my floors feel sterilized.

At a party we were having at our house I even got a compliment about it. One of the parents had a child that had spilled some of his drink on the kitchen floor, when she wiped it up with paper towels she was amazed that the paper towel came up clean. She stated whenever this happened at her house, the paper towel would come up dirty from the floor. She was impressed.

I tell all of my friends to get one and I will never go back to a dirty regular mop again.

As for the complaints of the pads, you need to wash them separately, with only a touch of bleach so you don't mess up the fibers. It's best if you let them air dry. I would say it needs a bigger cannister, but when it needs to be refilled, I need to change the pad anyway, so it's a good indicator of when to change the pad.
