I've been looking for something like this for months. I have lots of friends over and like to entertain. Now I can avoid the hassle of running out of ice! I also get to make lots of new treats and beverages with the crushed ice function. This is a must have for people like me. It's no lightweight and is slightly noisy when in use, which are really secondary given the usefulness. More than satisfied with purchase.

Sometimes you wonder how you made do without certain things in life and this is quickly becoming one of those. I use it when I get back from work to make a drink and everyone else in the family uses it for something or other. For some reaon, it's a whole lot more fun getting ice from this than it is from the refrigerator. Outstanding.

It's especially handy to have around when entertaining. just load a water bottle and you should be able to keep the ice going for the entire evening. I really like the water dispenser function that's not found on your conventional ice maker. Definitely recommended.

Excellent ice making device. Water is also ice cold. There is some excess drip from the melted ice but is caught by the driptray. nice commercial feel to it. top marks from me

Be forwarned this is a very bulky and heavy item...but...it's awesome! Still can't get over the fact that I don't have to buy 3 differnt appliances to get my cold water, ice cubes and crushed ice. This does it all. If you have a bar area that you want to upgrade, this will do the trick.

I bought one of these from Windchaser. It arrived damaged and was replaced after several months. IT lasted a few months and stopped working. A complete waste of money. I threw it out...

This is the worst machine ever. It never stops running. It is continuously on. You can't get enough water at one time to fill up 5 glasses for dinner, or enough ice to fill the same glasses. While the water is cold, the ice doesn't last long in the machine and once again you have to wait. I have it connected to a direct water line, and find this rather unacceptable. I would expect all the water I want at any given time. While I know this is not an ice machine and will not keep ice frozen, I think that I should have ice to fill up a glass or two at a time.
