This is a great workout kit especially if you have back problems. The ball allows you to do a number of the pilate "type" moves with much more comfort for your back while strengthening your core which is imperative when you have back problems. I have seen dramatic results in my mid section! After 3 children I was getting discouraged that my stomach was doomed. Not so!
Determine the size of the ball needed by looking at the height ranges for each size. They offer Small, Medium & Large. Be sure to inflate the ball correctly as some have underinflated (including myself) and thought they bought the wrong size. The maximum diameter is on the GAIAM sticker on the ball. Getting it inflated correctly for your height is important. I measured on a wall, from the floor up, 55cm (my balls maximum) and made a mark on the wall. I then inflated the ball to about that height. I checked the height by putting the ball up against the wall and, using a ruler on top the ball, making sure that it is level, I checked to see if the ruler was close to the mark. I did not personally need to inflate it all the way as I am not at the top of the height range and found a slightly smaller diameter good for me.
This is a great buy and I highly recommend this kit which also comes with the stretchy band.

I just got this one, as I am only 5 ft and this was the size recommended for my height. I had a great workout going through the first DVD and am amazed out how much of a workout I got. This kit truly is a complete gym and you can workout your entire body on it. It is definitely a keeper, easy to inflate, and the video is really easy to follow along with as she demonstrates the exercises very well. I can't wait to check out the bonus dvd that came with it. I normally workout on the treadmill and elliptical but wanted to add more variety. I am very satisfied with this kit.
