I registered for and recieved this car seat when my triplets were born. We had two hand-me-downs (both Graco SnugRide seats, one from a friend which was 6 months old and one our oldest daughter used as a baby which was 18 months old) and only needed one new seat. I liked the cute pink pattern of this seat and assumed that the mechanics and quality were as good as the one I was used to using with my oldest. Assuming is where I went wrong.

The quality of this seat went way down in the 18 months since I bought my original: the handle is now open in the back where it used to be solid (I'm not just being picky - it pinches if you put it in the crook of your elbow); the grippy area on the handle is 1/3 the size it used to be; the handle up and down operation is rough, not fluid or easy. The mechanical ease of use took a complete 180 too: the shoulder belt straps move independantly of each other and the mechanism used to secure the straps are a very difficult tooth type that you can't just tug to adjust - they need to be pulled loose on one side of the buckle and then tightend on the other side, similar to a bra strap; there is no longer a single strap in the front to pull the shoulder straps tight - it has to be done in the back of the seat where you have to mess around with that stupid metal buckle again... every time you take your baby out or put her back in and need to adjust the straps!

Bottom line: The overall feel of this seat is cheap. Things are hard enough with a newborn without having to do extra work to make them safe. This seat is a burden and I would never recommend it.

We love this carseat. My 8-month old daughter was in it when we had a fairly serious automobile accident, and she was completely safe and secure. You never want to have to test the safety of a carseat, but I'm grateful we had this one, as our precious daughter was safe and sound. It is a little bulky if you are using it to carry around an older infant for long periods of time, but other than that it is perfect. Plus the matching stroller that it fit into made it very convenient to go from car to stroller without having to unbuckle and buckle her every time. Worth every penny!

I have two of these(twins), they are very easy to install in a tight space. I use them without the base in my Small Kia RIO (two of these and a graco turbobooster seat actually fit). I use them with the base in my F350 Crew Cab. They fit with lots of extra room with a Graco Platinum cargo booster seat.

Now that my boy is one, we have to find a toddler car seat for him. After reading reviews for those seats I just want to say to all the new Mommys and Daddys out there - BUY AN INFANT SEAT TO START WITH, not a convertible seat. Every bad review I have read seems to deal with the newborn being too small for the rear/forward facing seat!

We got this car seat as a shower gift, and have used it everyday and never had a problem with it!! It is great!! We didn't want to spend the extra money to buy a second base, so we switched the seat a lot. In hindsight it would have been more convienient, but this one is so easy to put in and take out that we haven't minded! We even got it to fit in a two door civic rental car!! (but it was a tight squeeze!)

Bottom line - this seat is not expensive, so get a seat that will keep your baby safe and comfy from the minute they are born, and save the bigger ones for when they are bigger!!

I bought this car seat based on the safety reviews, the fact that it was the lightest car seat I could find, and that it fit in my BOB stroller. Overall, I do like the car seat with a few complaints. I wish you could put the handle down with only 1 hand. We live in MN and it gets cold fighting with the handle outside. I also wish it came with a better head pad - we had to use our own to ensure my little babe's head wouldn't roll all around! For the money and the safety, those are minor issues - it easy to get her in and out and I'm happy that she is snug in the car!

I am the type of guy who will criticize everything. I will compare and contrast anything I buy. This car seat is simple and effective. It is easy to install. And the baby sits in it fine and comfortable. The straps adjust with different heights. I don’t know what you gain buy spending more money. I recommend buying a base for each car. Also there are pads you can buy that wrap around the straps to protect the baby from them. I should get paid for writing a great review.- "Common Sense Guy"

I ordered this car seat on February 10th. It arrived the week the baby was due - - 2 1/2 months LATER!! Unfortunately it was the only one that matched all the other baby items which were already purchased. VERY frustrating. The least that should have been done was to offer FREE shipping for such a long delay!!

The color is great cuz it's neautral, but not too convenient to carry when you've got two to lug around. The handles arent that great. Plus it's a pain to use with the corresponding stroller. You have to snap front piece on and off in order to collapse/open. Whole system was not meant to be used by a parent of multiples...even though there are two seats.

I love this carrier! The overall construction is great and it's so easy to use. Being a first time mom, I read the instruction manual and then was able to install the seat correctly! The pattern is adorable and goes with my other decor perfectly. The latch system in addition to the seat belt option was nice, we can put it in any car we need to. This is a great product!

I must admit that I didn't do much research on infant seats before registering for this one but, luckily this one turned out to be the perfect choice. We are just now ready to transfer our son out of the infant seat to the convertable seat because he is about to exceed the height limit at 8 months of age. I feel that we got great use of this seat. Our son was comfortable in it, it was easy to install, and we look forward to using it for our next child.
