No more problems with having blankets fly off the baby in the wind! This cover was perfect for this past winter!!!! I liked that it is like a "shower cap" in that it just slips over the carrier even if the baby was already in it. No need to mess with seat belt straps!

I am due in Oct, but registered for this item after a friend had a similar one. After receiving it, I thought it was worth mentioning to other's interested in buying it that the color is a bit off. It is more of a camel color, not tan/beige. Luckily, it still matches my car seat, which is a graco snugride tango in the tongo. It is also nice to have the reversible side, it is off white fleece. Another benefit is the cover for the face...a lot of other brands don't have that...you have to unzip and get your baby cold to look at them. Overall the quality is great and I'm happy with it.

WE live in Idaho, and it gets very cold here, on top of that I live in an area that is also very very windy, so this was perfect. I goes over the top of the car seat, so it does not interfere with the seat belt, which is very important since my husband is law enforcement. I would recommend still have a alot of blankets on baby or swaddling underneath, just in case. I am not sure why the mom that said when it was unzipped was afraid it would poke thier child, they may have the child incorrectly in thier car seat. Ours does not do that, and our son started out at just under 7lbs.

Living in MN and having a Jan. baby this item is perfect for the price. It is surprisingly thick and soft. I love how you can easily cover the baby's face or roll up the flap so the baby can see out. the only thing i didn't care for was the misleading color. It is definately not the color in the photo. The actual color is more of a camel/caramel color. for the price though you can't beat it!

While this was an overall decent car seat cover, I had problems with a few features that ultimately led to me discontinuing use and seeking out another cover. When the zippers/flap were down, there was a point on each side that would be right in my baby's face and I feared it would poke him in the eye. Also, it was difficult to get the baby in and out of the carrier...I had to bend him just so to get him in and he was only going to get bigger, so it wasn't going to get any easier.

There is no better value than this product compared to the JJ Cole which is way more expensive and quite frankly, this cover meets all expectations I need it for. Strongly suggest this product.

I was planning to use this with my 14 week old for the first time this morning. I recieved this from my shower off my registry and was quite excited to have gotten it, but since our little one was born in June we haven't had the opportunity to use it.
I now understand exactly what one of the previous posters meant about their child being 'poked in the eye'. When it is zipped it does it too. The part of the circle at the top where the zipper stops turns inward, weighted by the end of the fabric. It hangs right at eye level. Even when zipped it sags down and the fleece is in her face. I can see this becoming an issue of safety. There's no way to get it to stiffen and come away from her face, I tried to pull it on tighter and it doesn't change this. I would not recommend this product.

Beautiful neutral color for either gender.
Fits large infant car seats without any problems.
Cozy and roomy for child.
Love the zipper and peek-hole features - makes temperature adjustment possible when indoors and allows easy access to baby.
Warm enough for baby in harsh North Dakota weather conditions (baby still wears sweater/coat and blanket, which I prefer anyway)

This is a great product. I've only used it a few times so far but I am very pleased with it. The only concern is that when I close the flap over my son's face, it rests right on his face, more on his forehead than his nose or mouth, but it's still a concern. I only use the flap if it's raining or pretty cold outside and it's only for short distances like walking to or from a store. It seems to keep him pretty warm and comfortable as he doesn't fuss when I use it.
You can't beat the price of the product either, it's well worth what you pay for.
