my son got one of the pieces stuck in his mouth and i had to pull it out it got stuck between his bottom teeth and the roof of his mouth. he was crying in pain!!! pieces are to small for babies.

This toy is rated for kids 18 months and older, but if your child tends to put stuff in their mouth, DON'T BUY THIS! Or at least take the little shapes away, because they are just the right size to get lodged in little mouths and throats.

My daughter got this toy when she was 16 mos. old and completely loved it. Now at 18 mos. she completely figured out all the shapes!! I completely recommend this toy!! So its much fun for them to figure it out!

My little guy got the octogon piece stuck between the roof of his mouth and his front 2 bottom teeth. My husband tried to get it out of his mouth and he could not remove it. By the time I got to my little guy he was vomiting from having this stuck. Fortunatly I was able to remove the piece from his mouth! This is a really cute toy but beware of the small choking hazard pieces it comes with!

my 20 month old recieved this for his birthday and he loves it. he has become very profecient in putting the right shapes in the right holes and he loves the sounds that elmo makes. would definately recommend.

My daughter is 2 and loves this toy. She really likes shape sorters and puzzles and this is just in between. I would highly suggest this toy it is great for the price.
