I was pleased at the thought of converting my large collection of LP's to CD's, as well as playing my more modest collection of cassette's. All went well until I tried to play a cassette...the player 'ate' it. I never did try burnning a CD. Just returned it. Yes I may have received a 'lemon' but I didn't feel like playing the receive and retun game until I hit it lucky.
I do have to say that Target was very good on the return, the young lady who took car of the return was appologetic and efficient.
Target did good, Crosley...not so good.

I too have a wonderful unit! Recording from cassette or vinyl onto cd is simple as pie! I would definitely recommend and I'm glad I own this piece.

I bought this record player with my fingers crossed after reading the previous review. It's one of the only cabinet styles with the round edges, so I really wanted it. I absolutely love it and have had NO issues. I wish the other reviewer was able to get a great unit, because it's a great value! I would recommend and I'm glad I'm took the chance!
