DO NOT HESTITATE TO BUY THIS CARSEAT! I've been through several car seats with my two kids. Evenflo, Graco, Cosco.
I finally caved and bought this car seat after returning my Graco ComfortSport. IT IS THE GREATEST! First of all, it's the only car seat that I've been able to install in my car rear facing without using a rolled up towel or pool noodle. It fits perfectly! It was so easy to install and it will NOT BUDGE, unlike the other car seats I've owned.
It's also very easy to adjust the harness straps. It has good features, too, such as the NO-TWIST straps and the velcro to attach the straps to the side of the seat for easy exit and entry.
This seat is worth the money! It's the only seat I've felt truly keeps my child safe.

We are overall really happy with this car seat. After a ton of research, we chose this seat due to the excellent reviews and top rating in Consumer Reports (this seat rates safer than the Marathon), even though our child will outgrow this seat faster than some of the other convertible car seats that are available. The reason that I gave this seat a four star rating is due to the following issues:
-no shoulder pad protectors (all of the other Britax models have this) - my infant has large red marks on his neck after being in the seat - will be purchasing protectors to go over this, but for the price, this should come with the seat
-the strap also rubs my child's legs
-the tightening strap at the bottom has to be pushed underneath the seat each time we use it, or my infant will grab a hold of the long strap and chew on it
Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase.

We bought this carseat for him when he was 1. It still looks new, no problems with it. The seat is very easy to install. But now that my son is 2 1/2 he's definately going to need a bigger car seat. He's a very average sized child and the straps just don't go high enough for him. So we're in the process of trying to buy a new seat. We have this car seat in my husband's car and the marathon in my car. The britax marathon will definately last him until he can use just a seat belt with a booster. Spend the extra money and get the marathon.

This is the third Roundabout I have owned and I love it! My son is comfortable in it, and the best part is that it has a high safety rating and it's easy to install and remove from the car! I have purchased other brands of less expensive car seats for the grandparents and always have difficulty with installation and the seatbelt getting turned around, etc. An expensive purchase, but worth every penny.

I just wanted to mention that I did a lot of research before I ordered my Britax Roundabout and while the Marathon has a higher weight limit it didn't rate as well. On Consuer Reports the Roundabout rated at an 81 and the Marathon only rated at a 58. I was all set to purchase the Marathon because of the extra weight limit, but my son's safety is more important so if I have to purchase another carseat or booster when he outgrows this one I will. I'm don't recall the specifics, but the Marathon is not equal to the Roundabout in all ways except weight limits.

I got this seat when my daughter was 7 months, and she is now just a little over two. I love this carseat. We tried the Cosco Scenera first after being told it was just as good as the Roundabout. However, it was horrible. The straps twisted and the pull strap would not tighten well enough. How good is a seat if you can't put your child in in properly? So, I forked over the money and bought the Roundabout....I don't regret it. It was a snap to install. It fit quite well in my 2000 Honda Civic. I could put it behind the passeger side seat rear facing and I didn't have to pull the front seat up so far that someone could not fit in the front seat as we had to when we had the Evenflo Embrace infant seat in the car. The Roundabout straps don't twist, and the push button strap adjuster is great. It ensures that your child is snug in the seat. It is nice that the straps pull out and attach to the velcro sides for easy loading. You don't have to pull and twist your child to try to get them into tight shoulder straps. You can loosen them first, get your child in, and then pull the strap to tighten them up. I just love this seat. I am about to have a second child and we plan on passing this one down to the the new child (as it was a great rear facing...better than the infant seat), and we will be buying another Britax for our older child. I did have one of the shoulder belt lock-offs break on this about a year ago...not sure if it was the cold weather or I pulled on it too tight. I haven't seen a better seat than this one. I have friends that critsize how much I spent, but then I look at their seats with the hopelessly twisted up uneven straps and I wonder how safe can that be if the straps are not fitting their child correctly. You can feel good about this purchase.

I got this seat in 2006 for my son when he was 9 months old. He just outgrew it a few months ago due to his hight! The seat is still in excellent shape. I just washed the cover and it's as good as new. I am hoping for a second baby to get to use this seat again...They are highly rated for a reason!!
Ps...To the person who's all disgruntled over Targets customer service and handling of the pricing error. When something sounds too good to be true it probably is ;) This is not the place to attack Targets customer service skills it's for reviews on products!!

I registered for this seat because it is ranked #1 on Consumer Reports. My daughter just turned one, so we are now transitioning from her infant seat to this one! It was extremely easy to install! It only took a few minutes! My daughter seems to enjoy the cushion and certainly enjoys being forward facing! She seems to sleep comfortably in the carseat. I do wish you could recline the seat while it is buckled in but that is not the case with this seat. You have to uninstall the seat in order to recline it (so it's really one way or the other). I read in another review about how the straps dig into the baby's thighs and leave marks. Mine was also doing this, but I realized that the round cushion piece that is around the buckle at the crotch is actually a buffer to go between the strap and baby's legs! I am so glad I figured this out! No more rub raw on my baby's legs! All in all this is a great carseat and ranked #1 on Consumer Reports! It is very cushiony and comfy!!!

I was checking for months for the right car seat. I was going for the Megan but a friend told me that the child height outgrows the seat before the weight requirement was met. As another mom said in her review, I took for granted that this one came with the shoulder straps like all the others I had seen before. The other issue is the click safe latch between the child's legs. I am all for click safe but the over hang for the clips are too wide. This leaves the childs legs opened wider than necessary. I had a Maxi Cosi infant carrier and the click safe on that is a great size. Which leaves room for the child to move its legs without any problems. Look at changing these things and this will always be a (5). As I said my daughter looks really cute in it though and she loves it, was getting in and out from the time she saw it.

My wife is a Child Passenger Safety Technician for the California Highway Patrol. This is the seat we got our son. She said for convertibles it is the best one out there. Even a non-pro like myself can install this and it seems very comfortable for our son, too. VERY happy with this seat!
