Admittedly, I didn't try this on at the store (I'm 44 and it would have looked ridiculous on me). However, the material was nice and it was rather cute. However, in the photo, it looks like a rust color. In real life, it is a very bright shade of dark red. I like the real color better.

This dress was the perfect Christmas Party dress. I usually shop expensive designers [...], I went into Target to get some dog food and the dress caught my eye! It was made better than dresses Ive paid thousands for!

It's a really well made dress and it is extremely cute, although it doesn't fit so well on the larger-chested ladies.

I really believe that this dress was made without ever considering how human bodies are actually shaped, or that adult women usually should not dress in the same clothes as 3-month old babies.

Baby-doll dresses are one thing, I like them and own plenty. But this is just disgusting to put on. The seam that would normally cut right under the bust ACTUALLY cuts right around the middle of the bust. I have a size A chest, so it's not as if I'm trying to cram very much in here. Even so, I get a disgusting "bubble" of flesh from my chest where the seam cuts into my boobs. Uncomfortable, ugly, and not worth $0.60 let alone $60!Additionally, the neck is VERY HIGH and tight, and the wrists are also very tight.

This dress is VERY constricting (the chest, the neck, the wrists), and the way it manhandles my chest, it seems better for some messed up kind of dominatrix wear than for a cute/trendy dress.

On the plus side, the buttons are beautiful, the garmet assembly is of very high quality, and the fabric is outstanding. Too bad the quality, buttons, and fabric weren't used to make a wearable dress instead of some S&M costume.

This dress is made so nicely. It is totally lined so it falls very nicely. I especially loved the wonderful heart shaped covered buttons at the sleeves and back closure. Such a lovely touch! I think it is a little short for a dress for me but it will be a fabulous top for the holidays over skinny black pants and ballet flats. It was a bit tight in the chest as the other reviewers suggested but the 5 fit fine and I am usually a 3 or a 5 in junior sizes. You don't want it to fit too big as that would make you look enormous due to the voluminous nature of the body of this dress.

I made the mistake of buying this dress without trying it on. Horrible! I'm a busty gal and I couldn't even get the dress over my chest. If you have any boobs at all, this dress, or any from this line for that matter, are not for you.

the color of this dress is stunning and the silk has a nice, substantial quality to it. the shape isn't going to be for everyone, and definitely size up so that the bustline falls under your bust, not across it. the dress really has a swingy, fun shape - very playful. if you love an empire waist (and i do!), this is a great little dress. with some more "grown up" shoes and accessories, this is a knock-out!

This dress is beautiful but I dont know anyone that could wear it and make it look good. I ordered a 7 bc of the small bust area on the dress..... more like no bust once I got it on. There was hardly any room for my breats and I have a relatively small chest. I may see if my seamstress can do something but if I had to do it over I wouldnt order it. Although the chest was small, the waist and skirt are huge and extremly flowy. I am 36 B, 5'0 , 120 lbs, and the 7 was the weirdest fit. I dont know if another size would work bc the dress isnt proportioned evenly.

I've always admired Erin Fetherson's clothing and I love babydoll dresses, so I rushed to get a few of her pieces as soon as they went on sale in Target stores.

I agree with the other reviews...the neckline, pleating and fabric of this dress are gorgeous, but the bust is cut REALLY high and small. I have a larger bust so I had to go up TWO sizes...which is a bit of an ego-crusher, but so worth it to own such a lovely, well-made dress from a fabulous young designer.
