I have been using this monitor for 10 months now and love it. I am thinking about getting a second ione for my new baby on the way. I am not quite ready to not be able to see my daughter when I hear a noise in the middle of the night. I can;t imagine getting any sleep without it.

We've had this for the past two months & man, I wish I would have had this from the begining. My 8 month old talks in his sleep and his door is a little sticky, so his door was always open a little. Not so any more. With this monitor, I can close his door, and flip on the monitor when I hear him at night, so I'm not always rolling out of bed. The only issue I have is there is a light that change color with the level of sound in the room. As we have a sound machine in his room, the stupid light is always changing in color. I have a piece of folded up paper taped over it. I love to watch my son taking his naps & this makes it possible w/o going into his room.

This monitor is HORRIBLE. I got a hand me down Summer Infant black and white monitor and thought this one wouldbe better so splurged. I was wrong. I work from home and my home office is in the next room and I get TONS of static and the sound doesn't evenm work. I have to watch to see my son breathing. The color... what color? It's basically black and white even at noon with the blinds drawn. I called Summer Infant and they said that I have to have higer light in the room. Who puts their baby to sleep in fullsun? That is about what I would need to have this monitor be color. Save your money and buy a black & white monitor with good sound.

We purchased this monitor today after I dropped our old video monitor and the picture stopped working. We plugged it in and tried it out. The color.. well.. isn't very true to what it says. My hair looked blue on the screen! We do have wireless internet in the house and the video was very clear! As for the sound.. it was annoying. There is no way I could sleep tonight with that static noise. When I tried to turn the noise down then I couldn't hear our baby. I do NOT want to have to use a video monitor and an audio monitor just for sound. Defeats the purpose. For the price we paid... we should get a great picture and sound!!! Returning it tonight!

Great video! Love the picture when the light is off. I can see right where my daughter is. Great color picture also!!

If you thought you were not getting enough sleep.....just wait. I received this as a gift and thought it would be the best present. Wow it worked for 5 minutes and then the interfernces started. Every two seconds its makes a loud popping stactic noise. The picture on the monitor is really bright also. So if you are not used to sleeping with the lights on don't bother. The only way this item will work for you is if you leave it off and only use it when you hear the baby screaming. Great concept. I wish it were a better design.

When I first got it it was the best thing! The size of the screen it is excellent and the image just great, but the sound not so much I have to use a separate monitor to hear my daughter. What I hate about this the first one that I got it stop working the on/off button it just didn't want to turn on so we change it at the store and it happen the same thing it just doesn't work anymore if I press hard the on/off button I might get some image but it will not stay on. After a couple of times I would not try a third time, I think I will try another product.

I was given this as a gift when my second son was born. At first I thought a video monitor was so silly. I love having a video monitor now, I can see if my son is sleeping and just fussing or if he is really awake. Unfortunately, there is so much static that we can't use it for audio at all. We have the volume turned all the way down and we are going to have to buy another audio monitor. We have tried putting it in different places away from other electronics but it doesn't make a difference. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

This monitor is great if you only intend to use it for a few months. At about the 3 month mark it had so much static it was impossible to use, also the screen was no longer a color screen. Try another product, this monitor is very disappointing.

I absolutely love this monitor! I used to get up at night at the slightest sound with our old monitor to check on my daughter. Since I got this, I sleep so much better because I can just roll over and check her out on the screen. It's been a huge relief in the process of moving her to a big bed as well. It has great reception and picture and we'll be getting another one before our other baby arrives. The cost is definitely worth the peace of mind.
