We bought this and it has exceeded our expectations. At night or when its dark, it goes into nigtht vision mode where its mostly black and white. But during the day or if a light is on everything is in color. You may have to adjust the settings (A/B) for clarity, but once you find the channels it works wonderfully. Be sure to read the instructions before assuming yours is not working.=) The audio is fabulous and adjustable, it can be heard through several rooms if you want it to. I would highly reccommend this to a friend!I did not give this product a 5 star review because images are a bit grainy..not exactly HD.

I have had this monitor for about 3 weeks. I have waited to do the review to make sure I really loved it. We do. I have a 23 month old and I am expecting in 5 weeks. We never get to watch our older child sleep because we put him down awake and don't go into his room until he calls in the morning. He recently had an ear infection and was up and down all night tossing and turning. I could see him perfectly while sleeping and was able to determine when he needed me to go in his room or when he was just tossing around trying to get back to sleep. The only problem I have encountered so far is that the monitor and camera do not have batteries so you have to unplug the monitor if you want to bring it in another room. It would be great if it came with two cameras and the monitor was portable. I haven't had any static with the picture and the volume has slight static but much better than my other monitors. It has a series of lights at the top and as the sound elevates the lights light up green to red. There is a snooze type buttom on the top that will keep the monitor in standby mode. If I notice the lights go up or hear the baby I can push the standbye and see what is going on. Then I push it again and the monitor won't glow, lighting up the room. Overall, I highly recommend this product!

This is our second Video Monitor, the first went to the wayside after picking up video of other sources. This monitor lacks the pan and tilt of the camera, but after finding the right spot to mount the camera there is no need to move it.

The Video is great, unless interfered by some other source, like most wireless devices. The sound quality is ok, we use an alternate sound monitor that is sound activated for the auditory signal.

The best part of this monitor, is the top button that works like a snooze on an alarm clock. If you hear something unusual you can tap it and the video is on, you can look and turn it right back off with out turning the whole unit off.

The large screen is nice, you can see what you are looking for, unlike the other one we had that had a 2 inch screen where I was always guessing what was a shadow and what was our child.

I don't like the green indicator on the camera, this seems to be an industry standard on most electronics, it is really bright over a child's crib at 2am. I put a band aid over it to dim it down.

We just got this monitor now that my 4 month old is rolling over in his crib, I wish we had it from the start. It's great, the picture is clear and we don't have interference. The monitor is so light, we move it downstairs during the day and upstairs in our bedroom at night, it works perfectly in both places. It's so nice to be able to see him and saves me trips up and down the stairs and prevents him from waking up early when I used to "sneak in" to check on him.

I bought this moniter 3 days ago and so far it works great. The only thing I don't like about it is the corners of the moniter tend to be a little dark. However it makes me feel safe having my daughters room upstairs and mine downtstairs

The picture was terrific when I tested the camera in the same room as the monitor. But I couldn't get anything but snow when the camera was placed upstairs. Not even when I put the monitor at the bottom of the stairs.

I was so disapointed. It worked okay for the first 5 days then on the sixth day the monitor stopped working.
