The temp. feature is great to have. The night light can be handy at times. The battery life on the base is poor but good on the receiver, I tend to use the power cord usually. I get a slight buzz at about 20ft at full vol. but anything past 40ft is noisy. The indicator lights are handy if I am watching TV. Overall I am happy with the unit. I do recommend getting the one with 2 receivers, one for the bedroom and one for the family room, that way you can just leave them plugged in and not have to worry about batteries.

I can hear another child crying. Static is so horrible unless u place it in one place far away from anything and dont move it ! (who wants that?) Battery is poor so i just leave it plugged into the wall. It seems to work better with noise in the room like a tv so it picks something up and not make static noises. I simply just think its cheap and you should try and find something better. Im in the process of finding a better monitor.

I bought mine not too long ago and it works awesome. I can hear my daughter breathing even. It's never had any static with me. People who have had static, make sure it's on the same channel and that it's not around anything else that's electronic. That could cause interference. If you're looking for a decently priced baby monitor, I highly recomend this one.

I carry this monitor around the house with me and sometimes outside and more times then not i check on my daughter and she is fussing or crying and i didnt know it because i didnt hear her on the monitor.

I just purchased this and after about 5 hours I am noticing that the static willnot go away. My older son was in the room with my newborns and I didnt know it because I couldnt hear anything on the receiver. This item is a waste of time. Just save your time and dont purchase this. I am taking it back today....

I can hear my neighbors conversations and sometimes even another baby crying. I find the temperature on it was never accurate after the first month. Twice now, it has just stopped working. I had no clue he was crying until I walked past his room.

I bought this to go in my daughters room when I had my second baby. I wanted it because it showed the temp of the room. when I got it home the a/c adapter didn't fit in quite right but I didn't think it was a big deal. plugged it in and it was very quiet. I could still hear my two year old so I didn't think to return it. I've had it for almost a year now and it has gotten worse. I have to fiddle with the a/c plug other wise it picks up a lot of interference and I have to sleep with it right next to my ear otherwise I can't hear my 2 year old when she wakes up. she's not a quiet child either. I need to get another monitor, this one is junk.
