Let's just say the Mangroomer is now a necessity for all men dealing with the dreaded "back fur." I am not an insanely hairy guy, but it truly bothered me during the "good times" getting lucky.... I felt a little unsecure having the little hair I had on my back and knowing her hands were all over it during. I am really not the type to do the waxing route or ask one of my buddies or even worse - a chick. The mangroomer did the job well and i like how easy it is to use in only a few minutes time. i think it is a necessity these days as you never want to end up being known as that guy with the back hair...

Can't imagine how someone would have trouble with this, the way a couple of the other reviewers did. An amazing product; I've had it for a couple of weeks, now, and almost can't get enough. My unit is not flimsy nor unwieldy, and gets everywhere I need it to.
The blades can get hot, yes, but only if you've been using it for several minutes. I did burn myself, a little, the first time using it... but that was because I was enjoying it so much, I just kept on going.
The timing of discovering this thing couldn't have been better. I am getting a divorce, and my wife was very cooperative about shaving me (even though she didn't care about the hair). Now, I am free to experience the comfort of a clean back, without her.
Blades feel great, and you even get a little bit of a backscratching out of it!
I cannot recommend this product enough.

I just received the mangroomer from my girlfriend over the weekend. At first I had no idea what it was or how it worked. However, when I saw it lets me shave off all your back hair alone I was happy and suprised.
I have never been one to get waxed or lasered since I think it is way too painfull and I really don't feel like going to massage parlor, gym or spa. However, if I knew about this shaver before I would have bought it cause I hate having my back hair with a passion.
I used the shaver in my bathroom for the first time and was impressed how long it got when you extend the black handle portion of it. I am able reach everywhere on my whole back pretty easy. However, it was a little strange to reach every spot in the beginning, but after I after I took a few passes and got a better look at my back in the mirror, I was better at shaving it.
All in all, it is great to have this shaver and that I can now shave my back hair off alone. It really makes a huge difference for me as I always hated having back hair. I think any guy with it would love to get this shaver and their girlfriends will as well.

I read about the Mangroomer last month in the Men's Journal buying guide. I recently bought it for my husband and he is beyond thrilled, due that he hated being at the club's pool with the kids and displaying his back hair to everyone.

He is very pleased with the results and so am I. I almost think he is now obsessed with the shaver and keeping himself smooth back there. It is very nice to finally have a clean back to run my fingers over as well.

This is a great quick and easy solution to a long time problem for my man and I encourage all women to get it for their husbands as well. Great product and results!

I just bought this thing today and really happy with it so far. Just threw in the batterys and let it do its job. Worked fantastic. No issues with skin or hot blades. Finally I don't have to have the nasty hair on my back and don't have to ask anyone to shave it for me. Liberating. I strongly recommend it to anyone. It really is easy to use and works great. What do you have to lose besides unwanted nasty hair. Go for it!!!

Today I purchased a mangroomer at Target for a total of a big price or a little more price after purchasing a six pack of AA batteries and taxes.(of which you only need two AA batteries for the Mangroomer). **** WHAT IS ALL THIS GIRLY-MAN TALK ABOUT.*** After reading about how this product cuts them or causes a skin rash. BALONEY !!! This is a great product especially for the price. I'm Northern Italian with a good amount of body hair, after 15 to 20 minutes of using the Mangroomer my back was totally clean of hair (in point of fact) the hair that I removed took up almost half of the bathroom sink. My suggestion for all you OVER SENSITIVE GIRLY-MEN out there is get a life and use your brain a little. To start off with, take it slowly, don't be in any big hurry and feel the blade gently on your back. You don't need to press hard and cause problems like cuts and bleeding or rashes. Your going to be a little clumsey the first time you do it yourself (practice makes perfect). Also have a small hand mirror along with a large bathroom mirror. Second is to get a soft towel because you'll probably sweat and make it harder to do a good clean job. To be honest I have several shoulder and back scars from the military and recent surgeries; two ten inch rods and a dozen screws so the scar is about 14 inches in length down the middle of the back, and the Mangroomer even did a great job over the scars. OK, so you take the price of the Mangroomer at a big price with taxes and batteries and say it last you four years, ( And I have every reason to believe it will) WOW !! it now cost you about a dollar a month. But even if it only last you half of that time, you've lost very little or nothing. What more can you ask for, except to stop whinning and crying when your clumsey or in a hurry. If you have the same body hair problem as I do...., do yourself a favor go get one and try it for yourself. Don't always listen to the Girly-Men cry. For the money it's a great product.

Looking good and feeling good after using my new electric shaver. It was extremely easy to use and the adjustability of the handle was good to get every last unwanted hair off my back. It feels great to finally have a smooth back again and I highly recommend.

I must share my excitement after using this shaver for the past month and a half of summer. It is a masterful device on my back and its design is simple yet impressive how efficient it can reach all areas. They key point to stress is that you can use different lengths with the sliding handle for different areas so it is not too clumsy.

I would simply say from the feel of the crisp coolness that I feel on my back, not to mention my shirt again, I fully endorse to all my fellow back hair challenged friends.

I must say I am very impressed with this cleverly designed shaver. I have owned a lot of different ones in my life, but never were any capable of shaving my back by myself. It is pretty amazing how big the shaver gets when it is opened and you extend out the handle. I am a big guy and must say it was even easy for me to reach everywhere, plus I will never have to feel the pain of waxing again - thank you. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with back hair, it is really well made and easy to use.
