Cannot stand alone, but fun if you love decorating

This is the first expansion pack that I bought for my new sims 2 game and so far its not as great as I thought it would be. Theres a few extras from the basic sims such as new floor types, new wall types, new appliances, new decor, some new clothing and a few extras...But considering thats the only new things that this expansion pack comes with...its kind of a waste. Luckilly I happened to buy this one on sale, so I'm not too bummed about it, but I wish I went with a better "stuff" pack. If a friend happens to have this, just borrow this game from them to build up your sims gaming because unless you really want that new double door fridge with the water and ice despencer, its not worth the money. Not a complete waste, it is fun since I love to decorate and build new houses, but some of the new decor goes to waste since I never even use those objects, such as the salt and pepper shakers that you can only "view" and not use.
