I purchased this item on sale a week ago and I absolutely love it! I had to travel 30 miles to find it in stock, but it was worth the trip. Plus I opened a target account which knocked off another 10%. It takes about 2 hours to put together, but the instructions are very easy to follow. My TV fits perfect and the stand would probably fit 42 and even 45 tv. The stand is slim and doesn't take up my entire room. The color says tobacco, but I just stained my railing to match and used a red mohagany and it matches perfect. The only downfall is the collection is small. There are only a few pieces to choose from in this collection so hopefully they will come out with more pieces in the near future. I would definitely suggest buying this stand if you are look for a quality piece of furniture and you don't have many components. There is only room for a DVD player and your old beta-vision.

After calling numerous Target stores in my area, we finally found this tv stand in stock so we purchased it and brought it home. We took all of the parts out and inspected them and saw no obvious flaws. After constructing the bottom, sides, and shelf, we placed the top on only to find that it was warped and would not lay flat to be screwed on. Because this was the last tv stand within a 30 mile radius, we had to return it half assembled.

I was very disappointed about this defect because we were otherwise happy with the color and quality of the wood on this tv stand. It would have been great if it hadn't been for the top! It was unfortunate we were unable to see this defect before assembling half of it.

Love the way this looks but I want to put my 52" TV on this but am worried it won't support it (82 lbs). Anyone using this with larger TVs successfully?

I bought this piece at the store and had help getting it into the house. I am
68 years old and put it together on my LR floor in about two hours. The directions were very easy to read except for the drawers. I would suggest when you get to this part you put the sides and front together first , then the bottom and finish with the back piece. I was somewhat puzzled by the size of the component shelf. In the store it looked as tho you could double stack but when I got it assembled it was not as tall and would only hold one DVD player.
Went back to the store with tape measure and found out the display one was 25 inches high not 21 like the one on the directions. The size of the shelf was much shorter. Other than that I am very happy with the unit.

I got this on sale for a big price and love it. You cant' get solid wood of any sort for this price! I agree, it is for two slim components, but that is what I like about it. Perfectly simple and elegantly low profile for you living room. It takes a while to put together, but if a 'not so handy' girl like me can put this together alone... anyone can do it! I bought the matching desk and put it together in 15 minutes! They look great and I would buy the whole set if I could!

I love this tv stand. It took me months to find the right stand, not to big not to small.....PERFECT. It looks great in the livving room and now I must have one for the bedroom!!! Great buy and well worth the money!!

I purchased the TV stand, two tall bookcases and end table within a few days of eachother. They are all beautiful and well-made from solid wood. Assembly was fairly straightforward and the finished pieces are striking. My husband was surpised that I had bought them at Target and assembled them myself because they look like they could be from a furniture store and are so sturdy.

We bought this stand a few weeks ago, and it looks amazing! Although it took me a few hours to put together (and I put a drawer on wrong at first), it was well worth the effort! We have a 27 inch tv on it right now, and we have recently been given a 36 in tv (regular, not flat screen). I'm not sure if the heavy tv will be too much wieght though. [...]

I like the look of it in the store, but am unsure about the size. Can anyone tell me if this will fit a 46" tv? Most reviews say 42". Thanks!

My boyfriend and I bought new furniture from Ashley. This set matches it perfectly! It doesn't look like it would be from Target. It looks like it came with my living room set. Putting it together by myself was a little challenging as the pieces are heavy. But this would be very simple for 2 people to do. Didn't take long either. We are very happy with it and plan on getting more of the set.
