I bought this TV stand and was able to put it together in less than an hour. It looks beautiful, much nicer then expected. It is a great color and looks amazing in our living room. No scratches or blemishes on the wood and all the peices included. Just need a screwdriver and your all set! A very sturdy peice.

Did a review of the matching coffee table. This TV console is better, but still had a blemish on the top and a knot/tear on the bottom panel.

After final assembly and putting the TV on top, the blemishes are not visible. So, it was not worth it to disassemble, re-pack, and return to the store.

Assembly took about 45 minutes while watching TV. Instructions were OK, and only had to backtrack a couple of times. Wife is not used to intepreting drawings. Would have helped her if there was a sticker with 'TOP' and 'FRONT' on some of the pieces. If motivated and enough space, should take 15-20 minutes for two people.

You must have a regular Phillips head screwdriver. If all you have is a drill/driver or magnetic-bit screwdriver, you will not be able to fit it into the pockets, which are too small. It does come with a hex wrench. If two of you are working, you can use another 4mm wrench. Or, buy two pieces of furniture!

We got the same comments...can't believe you got this at Target. Looks great. Especially for the price.

It fits our need for temporary furniture. We're not planning on needing this for much more than a year while we're remodeling and redecorating. The kids can beat up on this stuff.

Considering getting a matching bookshelf so we can unpack some more boxes of books and DVDs. We will not be gambling on the quality control, but at least we know now what to expect.

Decent looks, so-so quality. But, at the price, it's acceptable.

I wouldn't recommend buying this furniture unless it was for your own temporary use (apartment, etc.). Not as a gift or as permanent furniture in a house.

We purchased this TV stand over the weekend and love it so much that we've since purchased the coffee table and are rainchecked for the side tables! It took maybe an hour or two to put together, and my fiance loved that all the hardware was individually packaged and marked. He mentioned it took much less time putting it together because the hardware was already sorted. It looks beautiful and so far holds our 42" flat screen very well.

I purchased this stand after seeing it in the store and reading the reviews on line.
It is BEAUTIFUL, very nice quality and I love it. I am so glad I purchased it.
My friends came over the other day and commented "I can't believe that came from Target. It's so nice."

Worth the money, and final product is great! We have the TV stand, side table, and bookcase.
If you can put Legos together, you can put these pieces together.

I am impressed with the Avington TV stand's quality of construction and finish. It's very solid and looks just as good or better than ones which costs hundreds more at other retailers.

I bought this TV stand Labor Day weekend, because we were having guests over. My dad put it together without any problem, and it fits perfectly in my family room. The back panel was put on upside down, but I think that was operator error!! I really enjoy this piece and it fits my 42 in TV perfectly

I ordered the item online after seeing it in a store. I arrived at my home 5 days after ordering. It was very easy to put together (all you need is a screwdriver) and it looks great. It was exactly what I was looking for as I only needed it for a TV, VCR and DVD player. This is not for someone with tons of media equiptment as it doesn't hold much. It's simple and elegant and I love it!!

I was considering furniture from [an upscale store] but found this collection for a fraction of the price, and I am very pleased with the quality. Everything came packaged very well, was easy to put together, and looks beautiful in my home. Hardwood facings set this collection apart from the cheaper collections available from Target. A great buy!

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about buying this product due to some of the reviews I read. I decided to take a chance because it's been hard for me to find a dark wood collection that includes living AND dining room pieces. It was very easy to assemble and it really does look like "high-end" furniture. The quality is outstanding and you can't beat the price. The hardest thing was to carry it up 3 flights of stairs to my apartment as it is quite heavy...LOL! All in all, it's one of the best made pieces of furniture in my home and I will definitely buy additional pieces to complete my ensemble.
