Purchased the TV stand for new flat screen TV that was going in the redone gameroom/office in our house. Also purchased the desk, hutch, low bookcase, tall bookcase, and side table for the same room. My husband did nothing but rave about the quality of the furniture, the absolute great way that the hardware was already separated out in individual bags, all pieces were marked for ease of finding, easy to follow detailed instructions and ease of assembly. I found that the measurements were correct and all the furniture fits and looks great the room. The whole family is very pleased with the quality and look of the furniture. It has the look of more expensive pieces. The drawers did stick a little a first. Just great looking furniture. Very pleased.

I first bought the TV stand and i love it. it looks great and was easy to put together and isnt the cheap plywood like you get with alot of diy furniture. i bought the coffee table and end table to go with it and will eventually get the desk and book shelf.

bought this one yesterday. very nice and great one, fully satisfied. Its better and cheaper than ones that I saw in branded furniture stores(well for the same range ofcourse). all the pieces were intact..there was a piece where the chipped off on both ends but it goes in and hides behind drawers so not a big deal. Well the final result is the one that counts :).

I recently bought a new 42" Plasma TV and needed to update my ancient TV stand. I found this stand at Target and was impressed by how much this collection stood out from Target's other collections. I was expecting to look at the price of this and think "Who would pay that!" but was pleasantly surprised to find it was just as much as the other TV stands in the store.

Took a few hours to put together, but I find fun in long assembly projects, so I didn't mind. The stand looks so beautiful. I am very pleased with my purchase, and am going to buy more from this collection!

I purchased the Avington TV Stand, Coffee Table, and 4-Shelf Bookcase. All three pieces were in excellent condition. They all went together quickly and easily. They look fantastic in my living room and do not look anything like most boxed furniture. I am very impressed with the quality of this furniture. I just ordered the matching Console Table and Coat Rack. If you are looking for great furniture and don't want to break your budget, the Avington Collection is for you!

I love the piece of the furniture I got but was disappointed to realize that there are apparently two variations of this piece-- mine is the one with the smaller shelves. Regardless my DVD player and VCR fit nicely in each. The drawers are tall enough to put one row of DVDs with some remaining space behind. This piece was a little more difficult than the matching coffee table and end tables to assemble-- but still fairly straight forward. The wood is beautiful and everything looks like expensive furniture. I love my set!

I love this stand. I was a little nervous about what to expect after reading some of the reviews posted here; however, I ended up with the same model that was on display at the store, so I was relived about that. The openings of the stand are the perfect size for a DVD player and receiver, and the drawers have adequate space. The only suggestion I have is to use a power screwdriver to assemble.

I looked at many different TV stands before choosing this one. The color is rich and you can't beat the price. It is not heirloom quality, but seems to be sturdy enough and is great looking. My only complaint is the bottom of the drawers are pretty flimsy and I wouldn't put anything heavy in them. Assembly was average for this type of furniture.

I have been looking for a tv stand for a long while and was hesitant to buy a piece that had to be assembled. This piece, when assembled is very well constructed and looks much more expensive than the price I paid for it. I have gotten many compliments on it. One glitch was that when we opened the box a piece was split. After a call to the manufacturer and a $5.00 shipping charge, it was sent immediately to me and solved the problem. I decided not to take a star away for this because the piece looks that good.

My girlfriend and I got this over the weekend for my brand new 52 inch TV. The stand looks gorgeous and is actually very high quality. I would definitely recommend it, and will probably be purchasing more pieces from this line. It was a bit of a pain in the butt to assemble, but once we got it together it looked great. Sure beats [another retailer].
