unique dress

I really like this dress, but I'm going to take it back because the length is a little shorter than I'd like. I usually wear an XS, and the XS fit well. I didn't have any fit, draping, bunching, etc. problems. The only problem is that it's mid-thigh length on me (I'm 5'8"), which is just shorter than I'm comfortable with. I wish it was just a bit longer because it's a very cute dress.

This dress is SO ugly. It looks like a Halloween costume for someone going with the Grecian look. It looks so thrown together that I think it would be pretty easy to make with things lying around one's house. Like an old bed sheet and some gauze material. Tie it at one shoulder, and you have this dress, for free!

When I picked up the dress I was super excited for the unconventional design ...finally (I'm so tired of the mod look) and was just as pleased when I tried the dress on. I have to admit that I was a little worried but with my full bust and petite statue, it looks great. No draping problems here!

I'm glad the chiffon is silk, and the lining is rayon, so it's a very light, breathable dress. The color combination is very striking and the draping in the back is quite dramatic. However, the skirt seems a little bit anemic compared to the dramatic top. The draping is beautiful on the body, and the fabric flows beautifully, but the fit was funny on me. I had to size up one, which I often do in knits. However, I couldn't get the tank-shaped lining to lay flat across my chest, and the waist does not fall in the most flattering place. I don't have a large chest, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't lay flat; it seemed like a strange cut or else I need try it with a different bra. Overall, I would love to have this, but will wait to see if I can get it on sale since the fit is off for me.

The material is very soft and flowy, but the fit is horrible. The gray part slouches too much and does not even hug my body at all. This whole collection isn't very great, especially the fits. They're all oversized. I normally wear a size 0-1.
