Clock is the perfect size for the mantel. However, corner of the base is chipped and clock will not sit flat. Looks like an attempt was made to repair & paint over it. Also, hands don't line up together for 12N. Hour hand is slightly off. Return instructions are ambiguous - sticker on clock says "don't return to store" yet Target has return instructions online, by which exchange is not available. All I want is a balanced, aligned clock.

BTW, don't understand other reviewer's comment "loud enough to wake even teens". It's NOT an alarm clock.
