I love this sponge. It was recommended to me as a knock-off of a certain twice-as-expensive cosmetic sponge, but I think the Sonia Kashuk version is actually better suited to applying product near the curves of the face (like the nose). I use this for everything: foundation, concealer, cream blush. It multi-tasks beautifully, and always leaves a perfect finish. As another reviewer said, use it damp and let it air dry. Oh, and keep it in a safe place; animals and babies think these are mighty tasty. If your cat doesn't find it, it should last at least three months.

I saw reviews of this on YouTube & was convinced that it was the best tool for putting on liquid foundation. I had to go to 4 different Target stores until I tracked 1 down and it was definitely worth it! All the amazing reviews are right, this is THE BEST beauty blending sponge for under [Price]*Make sure to run water over it until it swells up and then squeeze it dry in a towel. You still want there to be water inside, just not sopping wet. This is what gives you the "dewy" effect.

I have large pores and scarring and my make-up definitely looks smoother using this sponge. I will never use anything else to put on foundation. Tip: Dampen the sponge first and wash it out after using it, then air dry.

This sponge fits perfectly in your hand and it just smooths your makeup across your face instead of pushing it around like the wedge shaped sponges. Ive been using it the last few days and I love it. I still cant tell if the benefits are slightly dimished by laying powder over the foundation like I normally do but it just looks fanatistic when you first put it on. I absolutely love it and wont be going back to the wedges at all. I believe it will last a lot longer to as it doesnt seem too over absorb the product or water.

I saw that, at this point, this sponge only has a 4 of 5 rating. I find that shocking because this little guy has changed the way I view liquid foundations and makeup sponges in general. It truly gives a gorgeous finish - and it's simple. I apply my foundation to my face and then use this to stipple (quick blotting motion)it. It blends to a finish somewhere between airbrushed and dewy. Make sure that it's a little damp (but not soaked!) when using it. And clean it often to avoid bacteria build up. Mine has lasted me two months thus far. And it's still in excellent condition. I like to use the bottom of it for the larger parts of my face and the pointy end for around my nose and eyes.

Blue not purple!

Originally I had a few pink beauty blender sponges and then I thought I would give this a try since it is half the price. I bought one and then another and they have both lasted for a long time. Then I bought two more and like some of the other reviews say, they don't "swell" therefore you can't properly wash product out of the sponge. It also crumbles and is not a good product. The moral of the story is this, if you find a blue sponge as shown in the photo above, it is a "good" sponge, but if you are going to purchase one and it is the newer purple colored sponge, it is a "bad" sponge. The purple sponges don't work and I am very disappointed that the quality has gone down hill so fast. Needless to say they just aren't making them like they used to.

I love this sponge! Probably the best part is that you don't have to wait for it to dry after you clean it, because I am sometimes lazy I don't clean it til the next day but can still use it right away. Once I have moisturized and applied my primer, Here's how I use it:
1.) tap on NW25 full coverage foundation in areas where I need to conceal
2.) squirt 1 pump of my studio fix fluid and tap all around, blend lightly.
3.) then I work on my under eyes & eyes.
I Love it!! Very simple & SUPER FAST!!

I'm giving it a bad review. I had to throw away my first sponge because it was crumbling due to having to rub it so hard to get all the makeup out of it. I used my 2nd sponge twice and it already started crumbling! And I hadn't rubbed it to clean it at all. So, I went ahead and just bought a BeautyBlender. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money on this. Just buy the BeautyBlender. It's a higher quality product and works much better. You do get what you pay for after all.

Like other reviewers, I own several MAC brushes, including the fabulous 109, but I am beginning to like this better for liquid foundation...ok, ALMOST like as much as my little Skunk Jr. brush (188). ;) Now don't get me wrong, MAC's brushes are good products, but I don't get as many compliments on my skin as I do when I use this sponge (and Revlon's Colorstay Liquid Foundation-the BOMB).

I like the concept if the sponge, but after washing it once it doesn't look like it will last very long. I will probably go back to the traditional wedge sponges. Not really worth the price.
