I have had the unit for only a couple of hours. I have some complaints but not against the model itself but against all of the portable ice makers. I have been looking around and even the more expensive units have the same problem. Below the ice basket is the chamber that holds the water from which the ice is made. As its made it drops into the basket and immediately begins to melt back into the water chamber over and over again. The ice is always wet as the interior is not refrigerated by anything but the ice itself. Someone needs to invent the portabel ice maker that has a freezer or at least refrigerator built into it. I will rate this specific unit in my next review due to limited space.

Makes ice easily and quickly without a big hassle. I would recommend this to anyone who needs extra ice for any occasion.

This product is the greatest. Our ice maker in our brand new refrigertor is garbage; could not keep up with 2 adults that work all day. I happened to see this online and went down to our local Target to check it out. Bought it, set it up in minutes, ran it about 8 hours and turned it off. We had plenty of ice and did not need to turn it on again for 5 days. LOVE IT.
