We got this for our 8, 6, and 3 year old kids. They loved it. It was a fun, quick activity. There are three socks, so it was just enough. There were plenty of little foam bits. Enough, actually, that we started decorating the [clean!] matchless socks we had in the sock basket. We have a Step 2 puppet theater and the kids had a blast putting on shows-for days!

The downside is that the little foam pieces are a bit hard to pull off so it would be pretty hard for a child to do alone. We didn't mind though; it was a family activity.

Very cute - nice to have three to share. Encourages imagination. Any age can enjoy.
