When we were looking for an upgrade from our infant car seat, we looked at the safety ratings first, ease of use second. This seat ranked at the top in both categories. The seat is very easy to put in and take out of our car, which is equipped with the Latch system. If you didn't have a Latch system, it would be a little more difficult, but still relatively easy compared to other seats we looked at. The seat is comfortable for our son, turning rides that usually involved a lot of crying into pleasant babblefests. Our son was a preemie, though, and is small for his age. A larger child may not be so comfortable, but I can't say for certain, not having a point of reference to judge this. I love the velcro tabs on the side of the seat and the straps! They hold back the straps as you put him in the seat, making the task of getting him in and out (the roughest part of the trip for us) much easier. It has a side impact protection as well. Safest seat out there. We highly recommend it.

I had received an Eddie Bauer 3-in-1 car seat as a gift for my first child, but I ended up having to move from overseas back to the States when my son was only a few months old. The car seat shipment was delayed, and my son was reaching the max limits in his infant bucket seat. So after lots of research and after talking with a relative who raved about Britax, I bought the Britax Diplomat as a replacement.

I loved the car seat as soon as I took it out of the box. The seat was so soft and comfortable. The cow pattern was adorable and added a little style compared to the plain neutral colors out there. I have a 2000 model car without the LATCH system, but it was pretty easy to install with the shoulder belt fed through the seat base. The seat cover is removable so you can wash it. A bonus since my son spit-up the first time he was in the seat. I love that you can velcro the straps to the sides of the seat! No more digging them out from behind your child.

I finally got my other car seat in the mail about a week after using the Britax. The seat felt hard with not as much padding as the Britax. Overall, it felt and looked so rigid compared the the plushness of the Diplomat. I'm so glad now that I went with the Britax.

I really like this car seat. I thought it would be too large for my honda element but it is perfect. It took me one month to find the perfect carseat for my second child being that I really never understood what to look for when selecting a car seat but I'm glad I've finally passed that test. I know everything a good carseat should have, sturdyness, cushion for compfort, design for lower body and neck support, fire retardation, and impact suction. Another thing that is great about this carseat, it has instrctions written on the sides of the car seat for your convience..even the child size information for a reference...check this out..the manual stays attached to this carseat...I know...GET OUT OF HERE lol..lol. This car seat can adjust up to the child is 65lbs and is very easy to do along with convience of an attached manual.

I'm preparing to find another Britax for my three year old. This car seat is expensive but it is the best I've ever had.

I did a lot of research before I choose the car seat I'd get my daughter. This seat has excellent safety ratings and is attractive to boot!

I got this seat hoping it would carry us from birth to a few years, but after a few weeks taking her in and out of the seat and finding out the seat, even though it reclines, was still too vertical and her head would sometimes slump forward. It didn't seem to bother her as she was usually asleep but it worried me.

I hoped to save money and not have to buy an infant car seat, but it is really worth the convenience and is more compatible in positioning.

I bought this seat thinking it was the safest for my dughter and everytime I put her in it, she cries. She does not like the seat, it is always a fight putting her in it. It seams that it does not sit correctly no matter how much you asjust the seat it still does not sit right. So I now have to buy a new seat so my daugther will be more comfortable. The most expensive is not always the best.

This was the second convertible car seat my husband and I purchased for our son. We chose this one not only because it had excellent safety ratings but also because it has a small footprint which made it perfect for the backseat of our Chevy Colorado extended cab. The Colorado is equipped with the LATCH system but we had difficulty with most safety seats having a large footprint and not fitting on the truck seat. This one is comfortable for my son and it is perfect for the back seat of our small cab!

We bought this car seat because it had the "True Side Impact Protection", and wasn't as big and bulky as the Boulevard. It fits in our vehichle nicely, has a nice cover that is very soft, and very easy to use. It may only go up to 40 lbs, but by then our daughter will be ready for a booster anyway. It is worth the money to know baby is so well protected and comfortable.
