Best one I've owned! January 10, 2009 Reviewer:  Rai (Columbus, OH)  See all my reviews >

After my other printer gave out I decided purchasing a new one would be a better financial decision. The NX400 was on sale at Target and worth every penny I put into it. The quality and features are excellent!

I love the small LCD display where I can select which images I want straight from my memory card. The ability to adjust the resolution, sharpness, contrast, brightness and saturation of the images I scan before I even scan them is excellent. I also like the way the color ink is divided, now if I run out of one color rather than replace the entire cartridge I can simply replace that color.

Absolutely Awful waste of money!!! March 17, 2009 Reviewer:  Cajun-Junkie "Raegan C" (Charleston WV)  See all my reviews >

Ive been looking for a good all in one printer; this one isnt it! First, its made of cheap plastic, its flimsy, the paper got jammed in the first 5 mins, (when it even recognised it had paper in it!) It was so loud, i thought it was going to either blow up or fall apart, it shook horribly when it printed. I took it back an hour later! Don't waste ur money! Spend the extra money and buy the other! I did, and its top notch. the pics are ahhhmazing!

Ink is too expensive. May 6, 2009 Reviewer:  Reilly S See all my reviews >

On top on having to buy a USB cord, replacing the inks costs more than the printer. Epson goes out of there way to prevent you from refilling their cartridges or using compatibles, so you are stuck buying expensive cartridges from Epson. The cost per page printed is often more than 10 cents! Also the printer is loud as can be. It sounds like the print head is ready to break though the plastic sides.

Not the best in the world but it will do. March 24, 2009 Reviewer:  Jillian Ferguson "jillrae" Real Name (Wyoming)  See all my reviews >

Not a bad printer, the scan was a bit grainy but then again I'm not doing anything professional with it. A big negative for not having a USB cord. Buy the printer and you will have to spend more $$$ on the cord. I used the cord from a previous Epson and connected it to the PC and now works straight from the PC, not just a memory card. CF and SD cards only, no memory sticks.

Don't waste your money August 2, 2009 Reviewer:  J. Tolisano "Jadisqueen" Real Name (Southern MA)  See all my reviews >

I bought this printer and although it was loud and the paper feed function was flimsy, I liked the print and scan quality. As soon as I had to replace the ink I choked at the price of the ink and the printer never worked again! I called Epson and they sent me another printer that also couldn't detect the ink. It was a huge waste of my time and money and now I have two useless printers in my house! I called them again and they sent me more ink but they still didn't work. They don't have a quality product in this printer and I will never buy Epson anything again!

Great Printer April 29, 2009 Reviewer:  US Mummy See all my reviews >

This printer is awesome. I am a scrapbooker and love how my photos turn out. I don't think it's cheap plastic at all, and it stays pretty still when it prints. I have been using it for a while now and have not come across any problems. It's easy to install, and easy to keep track of your ink. I love the screen so you can print out pictures from your memory cards, or USB sticks without turning on your computer. The only downer for me was that it did not come with the USB cable, luckily the one we had before for our old printer was the same one we needed.

HELP NEEDED March 20, 2009 Reviewer:  MOM OF 1 "LAUREEN" (BROOKLYN NY)  See all my reviews >

more like 2 pages per minute... September 29, 2009 Reviewer:  eri berry "eri berry" (boston, ma)  See all my reviews >

Overall this is probably a decent value, but some things to note: "Up to 34 pages per minute" is false advertising. My first print job was an 8-page spreadsheet and took over 3 minutes. I'm sure a regular document would be faster without all the formatting but I'm guessing 34 ppm is if you have one word per page and the fastest possible everything and it's all blue skies and you are in fairyland. Second it is pretty lame to not include the USB cable. Luckily the cable that came with my old Epson scanner worked... but I had to unscrew the panel over the opening and take it apart to get the cable to fit thru the hole. It's kind of loud too and I haven't tried printing photos. Also kind of annoying that it prints the pages face up - so when printing multiple pages they come out in backwards order.

Awesome Printer July 28, 2009 Reviewer:  College Dude "Joe S" (Belmont, CA USA)  See all my reviews >

I am a college student and purchased the NX400, I am really happy with the printer, it has saved me countless stamps using the scan function to send assignments and documents to my Professors and the print quality is excellent. I have read the reviews by other users and frankly, I would recommend they go to printer school to learn how to properly apply commands to their printers. I give the Epson NX400 a thumbs up...great printer at a great bargain price.

What A Waste of Money!!! June 21, 2009 Reviewer:  sara wheat "not so happy" (mckinney tx)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this printer a year ago and was really pleased with the quality of pictures that it printed. I went to replace the ink only to find out you are looking at 60.00 to replace it... after I finally made that investment... the piece of junk won't even work! If you buy this make sure you pick up a baseball bat to put it out of its misery!!!
