I don't get it...

I purchased this eyeliner in the store because I liked the warm charcol color that seems to have a touch of brown in it. For [the price] I figured it must be good quality. I threw it in my basket and moved on. Now that I have used it a couple times it needs to be re-sharpened. How do I do this? I have no idea. It looks to be a self-sharpening pencil. the actual pencil is plastic, so it can't be sharpened right? I'm completely confused. I've used it twice. It doesn't turn. I can't push it out. I figured a product would be pretty self-explanatory. Not this one.
Also, for the price, the quality is lacking. Stick to your lancome and dior eyeliners which I think are the best. This one doesn't give you a nice clean line. It is soft though, and the smudger end of the pencil makes it easy to make the liner look more even.
I'm just really not impressed overall. I am curenly on hold with customer service trying to figure out how to sharpen this thing...

I wanted to write this review to claify what another reviewer said. This is NOT a self sharpening eyeliner, it does require a pencil sharpener. I have this eyelinr in Mexico City, which is a dark brown, almost black-brown. It goes on very smoothily and dark, it one of my favorite eyeliners.

Love this pencil. I have been a fan of the JK eyeliner colors but much prefer the texture and "double ended" quality of this pencil. I can smudge really easy for a smokey eye or shadow base - love it! I hope they come out with bright colors with this same formula/pencil :)

Being very pigmented can be both bad and good. This eyeliner is good because the color payoff is really nice, although it is so pigmented you must use it very lightly. Other than that, I love this eyeliner. I have it in the hunter green color and it is really wonderful. After applying I usually set it with a translucent powder so that it doesn't smudge.

Ok so I don't usually right reviews but I do like to read them. Anyways I loved this so much that I had to write a review. So I was at Target today with my son doing some shopping and I was browsing makeup, normally I buy Loreal eyeliner but they were totally out and I look across the aisle and there is the NP SET makeup and so even though the price was a little much I put some on and walked around for a bit. Well it was still on and hour later with no smudging and so I bought it. Then I came home and took a nap and was surprised because when I woke up IT WAS STILL ON!! It's a pretty color and normally I do black but this does look pretty dark when applied. Good stuff though!!

It goes on greasily even if I have eyeliner on. It is too thick to use the smearing end unless you want it to just look gross. You can't get it to go on lightly. If I press it lightly, it looks the same as if I pressed it hard. I gave it a two because it does go on easily, and the smearing end works well with my [...] eyeliner.
