Where's Scotland?

Thought this might assist my son for his world geography tests, but noticed that Scotland is missing on the shower curtain just prior to his "British" test! (We used a Sharpie and added it ourselves.) Pretty accurate and fun otherwise!

THIS is my shower curtain for the last 4 years. I LOVE IT and now i know more geography than all my friends! I do little quizzes while I take a shower (yes i'm a big dork) like 'name all the "stan"s'. I even know more geography than my dad (kinda). If you are interested in geography, YOU NEED THIS! I'd never look at a map on the wall, but when you are stuck with one for 15 min a day, you have no choice but to engage! oh, its fantastic and i just moved and i gotta get a new one. The holes could use a little bit more structure, but they only started ripping in the second year...its a 15 doller piece of plastic...what do you expect?
:)

I am a student teacher and we had to do a lesson to our college class as if they we elementary students. One of the girls found this at Target and used the suction cups to put it on the white board as a map. The teacher and the students raved over it! It is cheap, the colors were vibrant and it was large. I went to buy one the other day (to put away for my future classroom) and Target had sold out... I know it had to be my class who bought all of them. This would also be a nice gift for a teacher to use in the classroom.

I got this for my son who is big in to maps, and I found it to be very accurate he loves it and it is a great shower curtain for any one in to maps I would highly recommend it.
The only down fall to it is it is not a heavy duty plastic but holds up well so I would rate it a 5

I bought this for my son's bathroom when he was 7. It's still in there 5 years later. I have three kids and the world globes don't get used-- this does-- when there's a question about geography.
Another plus-- so many colors that your bathroom can be painted/decorated virtually any color. Visitors love it, and I send them to Target to get their own!
It's inexpensive, so even if your kids do tear the holes on the top, it's easy to replace. I haven't had to replace it so far, but I wouldn't mind doing so at this price.

This is the third time I've bought this exact curtain because the holes keep tearing... BUT I have to say that as I lay in bed listening to what's going on in the world on NPR and then jump in the shower I get to figure out where it's all goin down AND plan for vacations, see how far friends/lovers/family are from me, etc. etc. etc. I use is as the inside curtain, with the map facing in, and have a cloth curtain on the outside for privacy. I recomend if for kids, too - helps them learn about geography

Vinyl Vapor

I have purchased several of these over the years and have always noticed a VERY STRONG smell of vinyl, which lasts for almost a week. In light of the discoveries of the dangers of inhaling vinyl fumes, I won't be purchasing this again. It's a shame because I have washed this curtain to extend it's life and it's come out of the machine soap scum free. I've used the map as reference with our kids and really like that it's clear. It would be a great product if is wasn't for the "vapors"

I'm on my second one. When you first open the package you are suppose to take a wet cloth and wipe down the vinyl and that will ensure there are no fumes. I have never encountered a "stretch" problem.. perhaps people are yanking on their curtain for some reason. After a long period it starts to build up soap scum and such, and since it's an inexpensive item, it's easy enough to replace and continue enjoying. All of my guests compliment it and it makes learning fun. I would recommend this item to virtually anyone.

This is a great shower curtain, i've bought the same curtain three times now because the holes keep tearing out (but it's vinyl what do you expect after 10 months of use). I get more compliments and comments from friends about my shower curtain than you would think a shower curtain deserves. Besides that I've memorized almost all the country capitals in the world all while taking my morning shower... YAY ME!

Classic vinyl shower curtain. I like how it is not completely clear. My geography has never been better.
