You think you're getting a good deal until you're wearing them in the rain and feel your feet going numb to the point where they almost feel wet. But you think that can't be since you're wearing RUBBER rain boots - until you get home and take off the boots to find that your socks are, in fact, SOAKING WET. You examine the boots and discover that the seems along the bottom around the foot are COMING APART! Not to mention that the insert never stayed in place from the start and the boots are super noisy when you walk in them. Awful. Would rather spend twice as much money to get ONE pair of boots that I don't have to replace after a month.

These rain boots are the same height as all the other rain boots that I have seen in the stores. I would not consider them "tall". I am somewhat petite (5ft. 3in.) and they come nowhere near my knee area. They are also very shiny and the picture makes them appear as more of a matte black. I wanted "tall" rain boots, so I'm going to have to return them :(

Let's face it-I could have spent 120 dollars on European rain boots, but they're just rubber boots that keep my feet dry when it rains. You get what you pay for and I think these are worth the [money]. These are cute-lined with pink felt and a little shinier than the picture. They're a little taller than some boots but definitely not up to the knee. Half-sizes size down, they're a little big on me (I'm an 8.5 and ordered at 8). Yes they smell a little but they're rubber.

The first time I wore the boots the inside sole kept slipping out. Hence was only able to wear them without the inside sole. Three months after wearing them I stepped into a huge puddle of water and felt water seeping onto the bottom of my foot. Water had seeped into the boots and onto my socks. Then I noticed I had a rip on both boots at the same exact spot. Right at the crease of the boots near the big toe! Also the side seams of the boots were also ripping off. This was a big rip off. Rain boots are suppose to be waterproof and these defintely are not!

I just got these boots today and I love them. They are so much comfier than I was expecting! They are shinier than the picture which was fine by me. I didn't pay much attention to how tall they were but I was also fine with their height. I wear 7.5. Sometimes on rare occasions I can even wear an 8. I ordered these in 7 and they fit GREAT. I like them so much I want to wear them to work tomorrow and keep them on all day but my friend said that boots like this are just for wearing outside and I should take them off when I come in. Ugh, they are too comfy and warm. I don't want to take them off!

For the price, these are great rain boots! I'm 5'4" and they come about 3 inches below my knee. They are very shiny and are lined with a soft pink. I'm a 7.5 and ordered a 7 which fit fine and leave room for a comfy or thick sock. The smell isn't THAT bad for rubber boots. If you are familiar and can tolerate the smell of Payless Shoes then you can deal with the rubbery scent. They are comfy and are not tight or bothersome anywhere on my foot. I definitely will consider buying a second pair in a different color!

I wasn't sure about the height, but I compared them to my friend's regular shorter boots and they are definitely taller. Don't expect them to come up to your knees, I'm 5'4" and they are about 2.5" below my knee (how tall do you need these??). The color is shinier than expected which I like. I wear a 7.5 and ordered a 7, fit great and they are a slimmer cut on the foot than most but aren't a narrow fit. After getting mine and then looking at dept.store versions, I was stoked on my $25 boots. Regarding the bump in the back on a different review, all rainboots have that. All in all, they are fun and I look like I'm going horseback riding every time it rains :)

I ordered these and really like them. I usually wear a 9 or 9 1/2 and I ordered an 8. I wanted to order an 8 1/2 but it was not a choice online. The 8's are a tad small but still fit well. They of course smell like rubber but you'd expect that since they are made of rubber. They have a great classic look and the light pink inside is really cute (I'm not even a fan of pink). Definitely a great buy from a college girl that didn't want to ruin her uggs walking to class :)

These boots are a good buy - they are water-proof and fit well but are not really that much taller than normal rain boots. They are not as tall as the popular H__ter brand and they do not come up to your knee - either way, they are good boots for the price.
