This game is fun and it does offer great diet and fitness tips that you have to "unlock" by accumulating enough activities. However, I would recommend NOT using it with the Wii Fit balance board (they are compatible) to get the best workout. Since you obviously cannot run or jump on the balance board, the only way to perform the activites in the game (like jogging or jumping through tires) is to shift your weight around on the board. It's really hard to break a sweat by shifting your weight from one foot to the other, even if you're doing it as fast as you can.

I purchased it to vary my work out from the Wii Fit. I just did my first work-out with this game. You use both the nunchuck and the remote. The response time is very slow between the controllers and the game. I couldn't get my avator to move at all in the tire path, the log jump or the punching bag. I did keep moving so I got a good work out but in the middle of the work out the game stalled and I couldn't continue. I had to start over and it didn't keep the stats on what I had done so far. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this game to anyone.

This is just NOT what I expected from Jillian Michaels, I can't believe she would even put her name to a fitness video like this. You can twiddle your thumbs and make the game work, there is no goal or challenge or method of measure of what you have accomplished. Even if you exaggerate your movements to get in a workout, the game doesn’t respond to your controls. I agree, you can get a better workout with wii fitness. This was very disappointing and I would get my money back if I could.

I expected so much more. The excercises that are included with the Wii Fit are so much better than this game. Basically, you run, punch, kick, whatever and the game keeps running whether you are doing the moves or not. Wish I would have looked at reviews before purchasing.

Remote & Balance Board don't stay configured.

I received the workout for Mother's Day. I use it 3 x's a week for 1/2 hour heavy training. The configuring screen for the remote & Wii balance board keeps appearing during the workout. I have changed the batteries, no luck. Last week it stopped 48 times in 30 minutes. If you don't hit the A button directly, then you have to step off & re-weigh. I also agree with having no luck in tire & punching bag. No response to movement. I'm disappointed. I like watching Biggest Loser & was hoping for tips & training.

This is the biggest disappointment I have ever seen! For one thing, you might as well be doing a video as 75% of the time the game doesn't respond to what you are doing. As far as the tips are concerned, I didn't buy the game for tips I bought it for workouts which are limited and some are pointless. If you are looking for a workout, buy My fitness coach you will not be disappointed. I just expected more from Jillian Michaels. Obviously, this is just a money maker and with no intent of putting out a quality product. Bummer!

it's a great game. you have to work to earn it, and that is like Jillian's message. the only way not to love this is to be terrible at it. this game is great, i recommend it to any one with a Wii looking to get some at home exercise.
