I haven't worn them in the rain yet, so I cannot comment on funcionality of the boots. They are, however, not the color I saw on my computer screen and had wanted. There's more red in the purple than blue, more earthy than pop out at you purple. Size-wise, they are just fine, and will be a perfectly snug fit were I to wear thicker socks. Some of the reviews complained they were not "tall" enough. I'm 5'7'' and they're around 4'' below my knee, like another review mentioned. But other than the color being off of what I really wanted, they're exactly what I anticipated.
To clarify on the color, if you go into MS paint and get to defining your own custom colors, the boots are roughly more like:
hue: 222, sat: 222, lum 95, red 194, green 7, blue 91.
On my screen, the picture of the boots to me looked more like:
hue: 189, sat: 231, lum: 118, red 180, green 4, blue 247.
If that isn't close to the color you see on your screen, then maybe it's just me. But that's the best way I can describe the differences without a picture!

Before I order, I read all the reviews. Yes they are not that much tall and they smell rubber but they are the cutest boots I ever had.These are great, true to size and fast shipping.Since my waterproof snow boots are not waterproof anymore, today I wore them in the snow to shovel the snow from the drive way. My feet were dry and since I wore a thick socks, they weren't cold at all, very comfortable. It looks like I will be wearing them in the rain and in the snow.
My first purple boots and I couldn't be happier more.This color goes well with my navy coat, beige coat etc.

I can't give them 5 stars 'cos nothing is perfect. These are just nice boots and reasonable price. My usual size is 7 so I got them in 7, a little too big but allows to wear a thicker socks. The color was the same as on the picture. I must say that wasn't happy with the delivery date (website said I had to wait 10 days) ordered them on Monday and got them on Thursday same week, so can give Target 5 stars for shipping.

The only reason Im not giving them a 5 stars is because I havent used them in water. I wanted rain boots to wear when I go fishing with my boyfriend and we walk in the water. I got these boots in red and they are so cute. I almost bought rainboots for [Price]bucks but thank god found these! Love them!
