I just purchased this car seat for my seven month old. He weighs 22 pounds and is 28 inches long and had outgrown his infant carrier. He is my fourth child but we decided to get a new car seat since it had been a while and there are so many affordable choices out there. I found this seat easy to install and the fabric combination looks good and feels great. We have a minivan with the latch system and once I got this installed it was very secure and looks very comfortable. My son seems to like sitting a little higher and I like that his head seems protected. There is padding that is optional as he continues to grow which is easy to remove. The cup holder is large and deep and when he gets ready for it, will be great. I also like that this seat will be the last one we have to buy since it will be good until he weighs 80 pounds. I think for the price, it is a great deal.

After trying a Britax I found that the lower buckle on it and almost every carseat in the store was too short. This caused the buckle to press into the inner thighs of our little one. She would have none of it. The lower buckle on Safety First carseat was well above her thighs and it was also rated for side impact. Overall this is a great carseat!

I wanted to say first that I have been searching for the 'perfect' car seat for my son since he turned 1. He is now 14 months. I had a hard time deciding which one was best and didn't want to be dissapointed. I didn't want to spend over $200 but I wanted a quality seat that was comfortable for my son. We saw this seat in Target a week ago and put my son in it to test it out. We loved it!!! He was so comfortable and the fabric is softer than his infant car seat! We did take out the pillow as his height put his neck above it. My husband put the seat in our car last night and it fits wonderful. It is tight and not moving an inch! I love the padding on the straps and they are so easy to work with.. no twisting! The cup holder is a nice add on and the recline positions are nice to have as well. All in all i am VERY pleased with this seat and can't wait to buy the 2nd one this weekend for my husband's car.

This car seat has been working well as rear facing for my daughter (9 months). I am excited to put here forward facing. She is very tall so she outgrew her other seat pretty fast. I am very please and my daughter seems comfortable and has no problem napping in the seat. Would recommend this seat. And would buy again.

I have 3 grown kids and one that just turned 6 months and at age 33, I have finally found the BEST All-in-one car seat made by SAFETY 1st for the MONEY.

The latch system ROCKS!
The material is totally UPGRADED like a (micro-suede!
The foam is very THICK!
The 5 point harness is PERFECT SIZING and VERY well MADE!!
The installation is soooo EASY!
And it's so EASY to recline!
I can't complain about the price either...

I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this purchase!

We were excited to find such a nice looking & rated car seat at such a great price for our 7 month old. However, as my husband was installing the latch system in my vehicle the whole strap completely broke off of the car seat. This made me wonder what would happen if that had been a wreck. I will definitely be taking this seat back in the morning & hopefully getting a safer one.

I read a lot of reviews on this seat and a lot say bulky, hard to install, my kids head slumped forward. Well you are all crazy. I installed it in only a couple minutes and it was my first time installing a seat ever! Eazy! It reclines perfectly facing forward and my littl girl who just turned a year falls asleep instantly and never slumps. She never use to fall asleep in her infant car seat. It fits perfectly in my Grandam and in my husband's Chevy truck. Great seat, she is so comfy and it is so secure!

Love it! My granddaughter is 20 months, but the size of a 3-year-old. She is very comfortable, has room to grow, and is higher so she can see out better. We haven't used the recline part yet, but will on long trips. We had a cheap one before, and this was quite an upgrade. My daughter said give it a 4 because the harnesses twist, just like our cheap seat. It could be we just don't know how to do it! It took my husband and I together to figure out and install it, but it wasn't too difficult.

My son past the the weight limit on his infant seat at 5 months old. So I had to find one that he would grow with. I did tons of research and this was the best, and its a great deal!! He loves his new seat since he can see out the windows more and its super comfy, its got thicker padding than the graco infant seat he had. I love it and im so glad to have found it!

We got this car seat 2 month ago at our baby shower. Thought it would work great. It was tough to get into our Jeep, the Latch system kind of worked and using the seat belts put it at an awkward angle, then when we had it inspected at the hospital they said this car seat would not work in our vehicle. Now baby and mommy are at the hospital for one more day and we need either a new car or a new car seat.
