I've only tried one other sling carrier,The Peanut Shell. Returned it because it was too small and I didn't even have the baby in it. It wasn't adjustable at all, not like the Moby Wrap. The site says it isn't sold in store but I happened to find this one in the store, bought it and was waiting for the right time to try it out. My son isn't here yet, not until 1-19-09. So I tried it on my fussy, sleepy niece. She is one year old on 12-27. I put her on my back and tried to follow the directions for this one of many positions. It didn't look exactly like it did in the picture but she was out like a light within 30 mins. I think it only took that long because it was new to both of us. I figure like the direction state just keep trying it until you get it right or you're comfortable.

This wrap is great! It is very comfortable and keeps my daughter secure whatever I am doing. She wants to be held 24/7 and she sleeps peacefully while in it. Now I can get all of my house work done without her crying and she gets to snuggle with Mommy.
It is great for going grocery shopping. I don't have to put her in the dirty cart or take up the whole basket with her car seat and she sleeps the whole time.
She is only 2 months old, so I have only tried the one position, but I'm looking forward to trying the others when she is older.

My 2 month old baby LOVES the Moby wrap. He slept for 2 and a half hours while walking through the grocery store. He also sleeps in it while I go for walks in our neighborhood. He has tummy problems and he can be crying SO hard but as soon as I put him in his Moby...he's out like a light! Definately lessens both of our stress levels. I'll be buying a Moby for every baby shower I go to from here on out!

I love this wrap! It is actually just a long piece of very-flexible fabric but there are numerous ways to wrap it. The instructions are clear and only a person with a single-digit IQ would have a problem with it. Its snug, keeps my baby close to me and provides great support for both of us! Is it slightly over-priced?...yep...but Im still glad I got it.

I hate this stupid wrap!!! It gave me and my baby a rash and it broke like a week after I got it. It was hard to put on and I almost dropped my baby twice!! No go!!
