keep the box and receipt in case you need to replace April 3, 2009 Reviewer:  Jennifer (North Carolina)  See all my reviews >

My daughter got the girl version of this doll for Christmas. She loves this doll and is very excited to play with her in the pool this summer. This baby has sensors that make her start swimming when she touches water, and no on/off switch. After about the fifth use, the baby stopped turning off when she was taken out of the water. We would have to unscrew her back and remove the batteries to get her to stop swimming. Since she was a Christmas gift, we no longer had the box she came in or the receipt. I contacted the manufacturer to see if they would replace the doll. They didn’t reply to me. After a couple months of wondering what to do with the broken baby, I decided to take her Target. I know they are good with customer relations, unlike that other discount store. I told them my story, unsure if they would be able to do anything. Then one of the employees went to find the doll on the shelves to replace it. That took a long time, and the guy at the customer service desk said it was probably likely they didn’t have a replacement doll, so he gave me a phone number to find a better contact at the manufacturer. Then the other employee returned with the doll. They exchanged with no problems. The new baby has flippers and goggles rather than the sunglasses and flip flops the first one had, so they let me keep the accessories from the first one, too. I was so happy they exchanged the doll. They really didn’t have to do anything, and they did everything. Five stars for Target!!!

Baby Michael Phelps! January 30, 2009 Reviewer:  Georgina Cardenas Pruszynski "Gina P." (Miami, FL United States)  See all my reviews >

That's what we named this doll, which my sister bought in order to encourage my 2-year-old son to take a bath without crying. He loves the doll (although we removed and put away all the little accessories, because he's too young for them), and we were tickled to find that he is more or less anatomically correct.
