I previously owned an older version of this item and the batteries started to not hold a charge after 5 years of use. I really do like this new one great sound, love that you can store everything together including the AC adapter in the storage case.

Great purchase. One can not find sound equal to or better than this product in this price range.

I purchased this to have easy, good quality sound outside on my patio without investing in outdoor speakers to hook to my household sound system. I am pleased. It's light, easy to use, sounds great, runs well off the charge and for the price, I'm not concerned about the effects of humidity and all the other things that can happen when I take it outside.

My remote works fine, but honestly, I just walk over to it most of the time instead of using the remote. The remote seems frivolous.

I would purchase again and recommend to those looking for good sound, reasonable price and easy portability.

This item has exceptional sound! In addition to the great features, optimized sound quality and functionality this product has, it's also compact, light-weight, and portable! A major plus in my book!
The only flaws to this item is that there is no handle on the carrying case which isn't a big deal and the remote control doesn't seem to work as well if not directly facing the product or from a distant.
Overall though, its well worth the money!

The sound is pretty good. I love the case, but it should have a handle. Also, we have had this for about 3 weeks and the remote does not fully work already.

I bought this in April 2009 for my wife for her birthday. It stopped working 5 months later with intermittent usage. I though logitech products were good. The player cannot be charged anymore and even if plugged in does not play. I am not sure what the warranty is but am going to call.
