I bought this for my 6 yr old son and he loves it! Other than coming with a couple of scratches from moving around during shipping, it is a nice desk. The only thing I did not realize that you should be aware of, is how shallow the drawers are. We probably are going to buy baskets to insert into the drawers to allow for more items. Also,any kind of notebooks must be stored in the middle drawer because the others are quite narrow.

The multifunction desk could be a fabulous desk for many different uses. The problem with it is that it only comes in the color black. Suppose a teenager is redecorating his/her room with a blue theme...this desk would not work and would be a waist of effort unless the small chance someone wanted it in black. Why not make other colors? Is it too much to ask for a different color than boring old black? Think before you buy it for the model...think about the color.

Desk is well labeled, each piece is numbered or lettered. Takes a couple of hours to assemble. Desk arrived damaged, could not use one of the flaps on the desk top due to broken hinge. Drawers are a little off, and a couple of wheels are broken on inside slides. Have emailed company for replacement parts. Overall you get what you pay for.

We are thrilled with this desk. It's true that the drawers are narrow and shallow, but the versatility makes up for the storage complaint. The top opens up for additional surface space, and the "keyboard drawer" is actually a drawer. It can accommodate a keyboard or be used as standard desk storage. We got this for my 7 year old son, and we anticipate using this desk through high school and possibly college!
