I bought the disney princess bed for my 2-1/2 year old granddaughter. She has been absolutely so excited about it that she has to show her "Princesses bed" to everyone who comes to visit my daughter and her family. They just bought a new house and her bed was delivered 2 days after they moved in.
I could not be more pleased with anything I have ever bought at Target.
Thanks to everyone at Target for making a beautiful little princess so happy.

This bed was the perfect birthday gift for my 3 year old!! First off my daughter loved the pretty pink color and the princess picture. Second I was almost put off by the negative reviews on the assembly but it wasn't a big deal. I put it together in under 2 hours with the occasional help of my sister in law. It's totally worth it especially since my tiny princess loves to sleep in it every night :-)

Purchased this for my 3 year old. She just HAD to have a princess bed. With the "help" of my daughter, took 2 hours to put together. As other reviewers have stated screw holes don't line up very well but not terribly difficult to assemble. We bought a wooden bed and took it back and got this one. This one is much sturdier and the side rails are longer and no more splinters!

I bought this bed for my 18 month old daughter and she went crazy over it when I brought it home. Took my well over an hour to put it togehter and the metal frame didn't even stay stable, it wobbled back and forth. My daughter sat there screaming and crying because she wanted her bed, but I am bringing it back and getting the more expensive wooden bed. The little plastic legs on the bed also were a pain to get together and the side rails didn't seem to line up so it made the screws almost impossible to get through. Frustrating!!!

I bought this bed for my 20 month old daughter. It says not sold in stores but I found it at 2 different Target stores. Great item for a good price. My only problem was putting it together. (I had the same problems with the same bed for my son in a different character 2 years earlier.) Getting the screws into the bedframe was a nightmare! My husband works construction and even he had to apply a LOT of force to get the screws in. Then attaching the headboard was difficult because it seemed to make the bedframe crooked. After all was said and done it was together. It looks great in my daughters room. She loves it! It is a sturdy bed. My sons bed the entire family has laid and played on. It's been through it and still standing so I know this one will be the same.

I advise being really patient while assembling this bed. I know if my husband was doing it he probably would have thrown it out the window by hour two.
Putting the metal bed frame together is quite tedious. Attaching that to the head and foot boards is even worse. But three hours and two soar thumbs later it is in fact a really darling bed that I know my daughter will get to enjoy for a few years.

I read all the reviews on this bed before we bought it, a few said that the mattress fell through or that the bars couldn't support the weight. The only issue we had with this bed was that some of the screws didn't go in to easily, some had to be put in on an angle and forced in - but other than that the bed is great. My daughter absolutely loves it, I find it to be perfectly safe (both my 2 and 3 year olds have no problem jumping up and down on it and I have laid in it with my daughter and if it hasn't broken yet I doubt it ever will.) I definately think this bed was worth buying

we just bought this bed as our daughter's valentine gift. we got it from toys r us. she of course loves it. she started jumping on it right away...fell off and got back on jumping again. it was pretty easy to assemble. dont really need directions. it was alot bigger than i expected which was a plus. i like the fact that its low enough for my daughter to climb into it on her own. she is 13 mo. i seen the other bed that was for less cost it looks the same to me wonder what the difference is...oh well. i do like the stickers better on this bed. not worth a extra $ to me, but worth it for my daughter. i like the rails...she knows they are there so she will more around. i didnt have the rail on her toddler crib and she didnt move a inch. she stayed in the same spot the whole night. the bed looks so cute with all the princess bedding as well. i love my little chickmunk!

I AM A SINGLE MOTHER OF A FOUR YEAR OLD AND AM SIX MONTHS PREGNANT WITH MY SECOND. PUTTING MY NEW BABY'S CRIB TOGETHER(THAT CAME IN LITERALLY 50 PIECES) WAS A LOT EASIER THAN ASSEMBLING THIS. IT TOOK ME TWO ENTIRE DAYS TO PUT THE METAL RODS TOGETHER. IN THE END IT WAS WORTH IT, MY DAUGHTER DOES LOVE IT AND IT WAS AN EXCELLENT PRICE BUT I RECCOMMEND HAVING SOMEONE WITH A LITTLE MORE EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD EITHER PUTTING IT TOGETHER OR AT LEAST HELPING.
