I love this slide! We bought it when my son was about 5 months old to help him learn to sit up on his own. He is now 7 1/2 months old and this is by far one of his favorite toys. He can pick up the little animals now and sometimes gets them to the slide, sometimes not. But he doesn't ever get bored trying to figure it out. But I love that this really helped him focus on holding himself up in sitting position because he wanted to play with the spinning music wheel and the bird on the top. I am recommending this to anyone who is trying to help their little ones with sitting up or just want to give their kids something new and interesting to play with :)

I purchased this toy when my baby was 8 month, but his little hands weren't mature enough to put the toys in the right spot untill he's 11 month. For 3 months, all he did was to flip the toy over... and, after 3 months, the 3 rolling animals became like old computer mouse - they weren't very rollable at all. We have some fisher price roll around balls and my baby love to roll them down the slide. He does have a lot of fun playing this toy - finally! And he's trying to put everything (blocks, rings, cups, etc...) down the slide and wonder why they won't go - he starts to figure out only the ball can roll. My neighbor's boy who is 14 month loves to hide things in the tree trunk. I guess I see some potential in this toy for future imaganative play. They'll build little tree house and send their little characters go down the slide. This toy is okay, but you have to make it work. I wouldn't buy new because for the price, half of the toy (the "rolling" animals) broke in a couple of months. I recommand you to get a used one - the slide is a very good toy.
