I have purchased this dress in solids and prints for the last three years. Each year brings more and more joy. Last year there was only one print. I am glad to see this year there are at least two so far. I also have the basic solids taupe and black. I ordered it in several other solids this year because this style dress is awesome in the summer with strappy sandals or flip flops. It also does great with knee hi leather boots, tall and short suede snow boots, and UGGS!! I just pair with a long sleeve tee and a denim jacket and I am so ready to go. I have never worn this style dress without being stopped several times how great it looks no matter what season and accessories. I also just bought it in the maternity section this season in the long black that is NOW SOLD OUT. I just got a size small instead of a medium.

One note: if you bought it last year, Target heard the many cries of the bust being too tight (wasn't a problem for me) and loosened it up (almost a problem now). So you may want to consider going down a size if it wasn't too tight at all last year.

Like the previous review, I too am short, 5ft 3in. I found the length to be quite comfortable. It ends about mid calf for me, rather than just below the knee as indicated in the picture.
I also am very small busted, but bought a small since that is my usual size. I did not find the dress to be too large. I am able to wear it without a bra, without any problems. I did however have to wear a strapless bra with the same solid colored dress due to the seams in the bust area. They just are not noticeable with the print. I think that may be why some people feel the need to order the dress a size or two smaller than usual.
I know right now the stores have the same dresses in maxi length. If you really aren't sure about the size, you should go to the store and try the longer one on in person.
Hopefully, if you order this dress you won't be disappointed. Unfortunately, clothes fit everyone differently. What fits one person well, does not fit properly on another. At least you can get an idea if it would fit if you tried the one in the store.

I wear a 4-6 and bought a small and it fits perfect. It is a flattering cut - does not make you look pregnant like some full dresses can. I am 5'5 and it hits me at about the same length as the model shows.

I am 5' 8, 177 lbs and this dress was too large for me. I ordered the brown dress in a medium and it fitted perfectly. BUT these dresses are SOOOO comfortable. If they have another pattern, i'll buy it.

I loved this dress online and when I got it is very cute. Unfortunately I am only five feet two inches and it was way too long for my comfort. Plus there just seemed to be a lot of fabric. It is a super dress if you are taller but if you are short maybe think twice.

I bought this dress on clearance and for the price will keep. I am bigger busted so for me the bust is tight. I may have to wear a shirt underneath. No biggie. The fit all around is a little big elsewhere. You may need to order the size down if you are not a big in the bust. It is a great print.

I am currently 8 months pregnant at 175 pounds, 5'7 and i ordered the small assuming that it would fit after my pregnancy.. It fit me with lots of room to spare at 8 months preg.. it is a very pretty pattern and comfy material.. but order 2 or 3 sizes down.

I agree with the other reviews - this dress IS very comfortable and I'd have been ecstatic to get it for $. Except for the fact that the fit is just WEIRD. I ordered both the XS and S, since people have been saying to size down. Both fit strangely - the overall fit was fine, but the top chest area just did not fit my chest! I hate it when the line hits about mid-chest, and this does just that! I guess if you don't mind clothing that has lines that go across mid-chest, then this dress is perfect. But I've always disliked that (if there is a defined bust line, it should go UNDER the bust), so this dress wasn't for me.

Also, I think you need to be tall and thin (like the model) to pull off a dress this length. But I don't know - I haven't seen it on anyone other than the model.

I ordered this dress to wear to a Labor Day cookout, thinking it'd be casual and breezy...and while it was comfortable to wear outside all day, I found it to be a much fuller skirt than the photo makes it seem. It almost felt like a muumuu, so I ended up belting it around the waist. I weigh about 128 and a size small fit pretty well--the adjustable straps are nice. Cute pattern, nice length, but I'd warn anyone thinking of ordering it online that it might be more volume than you're expecting.
