I put this clock in our top floor bathroom against a butter yellow wall and it looks fabulous. People comment on it all the time. It actually bothered me that four is IIII instead of IV but I understand that it is a clock-makers tic as it makes the clock look more balanced, rather than poor quality in this item. Have to say, very pleased at the cost (and it has a 5 year warranty)

The clock is beautiful! It looked great above our fireplace and "great green" walls. However it doesn't work. The first one we purchased - we put the battery in and four hours later it stopped working. We thought it might be just that first one so we exchanged it and the second clock did the same thing. It seems that when you put the battery in the case to make run- it stretches out the case. I would not buy this product. We have already returned it again!
