I originally purchased this mattress to go with the Simplicity crib that was recalled in the fall of 2007. It fit snugly in that crib. But after Simplicity shipped me a rather poor quality replacement crib, I decided to just replace the crib itself with a Delta. I didn't notice a problem at first, but once my son got older and it was time to lower the mattress support and remove the bumper from the crib, I quickly realized that this mattress has become sort of misshapen. Despite it being the size my crib calls for, there's easily an inch gap all the way around the mattress, between the mattress itself and the sides of the crib. Its a safety hazard, especially for smaller babies.

At first I thought it was just the crib but soon realized that the crib sheets have sort of rounded off the sides of this mattress and constricted it over the course of the past year and a half. Which is a bit worrisome considering not all of my crib sheets really fit that snugly. So now, with baby number two on the way, I'm not only having to replace this mattress with a better quality one, but I'm having to buy a new mattress to fit my smaller, second crib, because this mattress is too small for even the smaller crib. My husband and I thought we were splurging, buying the more expensive mattress that our local Target offered. Save your money and buy a more expensive one online that has good reviews. It'll beat having to purchase two mattresses after you have to replace this one...

I did endless research before buying a crib mattress for my son, who is due in July. I originally purchased a mattress in this brand made with organic cotton, but it did not fit the crib sheeting very well as it was thicker than standard mattresses.
So off I went to the Target store where I had all intentions of purchasing the natural rest mattress, but once in the store I compared all the mattresses with this one and found that for the price difference- this is the one to go with.
This mattress is firm (per doctors orders!) and feels thick and sturdy, but comfy at the same time. It contains 150 innerspring coils, which you will not find listed on any website!
After my tireless research, and a few trips back and forth to the store, my best advice says go with this mattress, get a nice pad to go underneath and save yourself the extra money you would spend on the other mattresses available in the store!

We bought this mattress for my son and it worked great. We purchased another for my daughter when she was born. Both mattresses have endured a ton of jumping and still look brand new. My kids are big sleepers and comfort was very important to us. We have been extremely pleased with both purchases.

Most mattress we looked at were just as cheap as they looked. Though this one doesn't have a great design pattern, it really didn't matter. The mattress fit our standard size crib nice and snug. So snug we barely could tuck some of the crib bumper in for added security. We are very pleased not only about the size but the quality exceeds the price. Great buy!

I purchased this mattress to go with the Graco Lauren Crib and after using it for 6-7 months when my daughter became more active in her crib, watched her slide between the mattress and the crib and become stuck in the corner!! This mattress did not fit her crib, to call it a standard size is a joke! It had to be replaced so my daughter did not suffocate or become trapped. I would not recommend and would go so far as to say, if you bought it, return it.

When our baby lies on the mattress, the mattress becomes uneven: it sinks underneath the baby and rises around him.

We bought this mattress for our son. When he got to the point of not needing the bumper, I noticed the mattress didn't fit. We bought a new crib and had the same problem. Well now we're expecting Baby #2. We're going to use the old crib and get a better mattress for the new baby.
