Positives: Looks great, very contemporary. Not too difficult to assemble.
Negatives: Some minor cracks and scrapes on the parts. Assembly was slightly tricky, though the instructions were clear. You assemble the middle first with cam-screws and standard screws. The cam-screws tend to slide in their holes. I ended up partly taking the middle apart and re-assembling the middle along with the right side so I could ensure that the cam-screws caught and the shelves and center braces were tight and level. You cover the holes for the cam-screws with these rather tacky looking stickers; but honestly, from any distance they are completely invisible.
Good buy for the price.

Directions were easy to follow, however we had to constantly go back and work on parts already tightened. We even had to use a hammer on some parts (which is why I cannot return it now), did a little damage. If quality hardware actually came with this bookcase, it would be perfect.
