I purchased these bottoms to mix with a turquoise swim suit top I found at a different store. When I got them wet, they absorbed the water and became very misshapened. These would be great for someone who wants to sit by the pool and look pretty, but you can not get them wet.

This bikini is absolutely gorgeous on the rack. It's gorgeous when you try it on, well cut, trendy, lovely color. But the minute you jump in the pool it turns into what I can only describe as something that looks like a diaper.
As a heavy weight, knit material, it looks great for lounging near the pool, but not if you decide to actually get in the pool, it's embarassing. Expands, becomes uncomfortable, and basically is extremely likely to fall off.
I was shocked by it's reaction to water, and then promptly embarassed that I'd purchased such an inappropriate bathing suit.
