This carseat is excellent! We were t-boned 3 months ago by a guy running a redlight at 30 miles an hour. The baby was in this seat and sitting on the side that was hit. Becasue She is used to the bumps in my Pickup Truck and the secureness of this seat, she didn't even feel the impact. We were so impressed with this seat that when the insurance company said they would supply new carseats, we went with this thing again! If we have any more children, We will definately be buying this seat again. If you want safe, buy this seat!

I don’t recommend this seat. The handle is very difficult to put down; so difficult that we leave it down all of the time, which does not make carrying it easy. Our daughter also outgrew it at 15 lbs and it says up to 22 lbs, which was very disappointing considering we bought 2 extra bases to make transferring between vehicles easier.
Before deciding on a car seat fasten the straps, these are very difficult to do, especially with a squirming child.

I personaly love this carseat, the colors & material make it very chic & modern, without having to pay a ridiculous price of those other modern carseats,I have a 2 month old baby girl& I'm not into the too girly stuff, so this is perfect,. . .also I drive a Audi A4 so the size is great if you drive a smaller car,.. .I see some reviews about it being too small, well I thought so too at first but theres a red knob in the back of the seat so the headrest can be adjusted as your baby grows to make it rise and fit comfortably for you baby. . .out of the box its in the lowest position which is even good for a preemie baby & the highest is good for up to a 1 yr old. . . this carseat gets an A for quality from me . . i feel very safe with it. . .I bought the snap in go as well which is light, sturdy & convenient to get around in. . I would definitely recommend this product I love it so much I think I'm saving it for the next baby!

This carseat is nice, but i agree it's heavy. Our son falls asleep in it pretty quickly, but the dye in the fabric bled onto the white trim and even onto some of his clothes! We like the carseat and the triangle handle, so we just line it with a thin blanket. LOVE the stroller that goes with it!

I gave it 4 stars because I haven't yet installed it in my car to see if it easily fits or not. My sister in law gave this car seat to me in the Ranger design. I loved it except I couldn't get the handle to move. If you have this problem with your seat,(which it seems most people do) use WD-40. Mine moves so easy now. It's no longer a struggle.

I bought this seat a month before my son was due and am dissapointed. The handle is so hard to put down the only person who could do it was my fiance, which is really difficult when he is not there for doctors visit etc because that means Im stuck with the handle in the way for that trip. Good thing infant seats don't have a very long usage, I was definitely happy to buy a convertible car seat but it was a very annoying 6 months with this seat. My advice look into a different seat.

It works well with the Kolcraft Countours 3 wheeler Cosmic Stroller we bought for our new baby girl, easy to put in my husband truck or my minivan, the only thing is, it would have been nice if there an extra adjustment in fabric on the latch between the baby's leg, as it seems to be a little too snug. We would recommend buying this car seat, it's pretty well padded, easy to use, baby also likes to fall asleep while in it.

The car seat is okay, but not worth the money. I would not buy it, and will be returning it if possible. The buckle is a major hassle. It even clipped my babies lag today. The sun shade doesn't move well, it is always stuck on the handle. I don't mind the handle or where the release button is, but I wouldn't recommend this car seat.

Safe Seat but Uncomfortable for Both Parent and Baby

My husband I bought this car seat for our daughter a year ago. She is about to transfer to a foward facing car seat and has lasted throughout her first year in this one. I bought it for the safety features and ratings and at first was very happy with this product. Once you move the straps higher, there is a huge piece of hard styrofoam that digs into her back. Every bump in the road, it would dig in farther. I had no idea until I was trying to figure out what was wrong with her when she was riding. We placed a small towel behind her now and she seems fine. However, it irritates me that the designers did not even think about the comfort of the child when designing this aspect. It does not make any sense why they would leave a gap for the lower back. It is a very heavy carseat also. She will be one in a week and carrying her in this carseat has become a pain. It is heavy alone but with a 20+ lb baby added, it strains the back. My husband is 6'4 and still has a hard time finding the best way to carry due to the triangle handle.

Car seat + baby = HEAVY.
Handle -- difficult to maneuver.
Release Lever -- difficult to wedge your hand between seat/carseat.
Straps -- always getting twisted.
Cloth Cover -- Cheap quality and the black rubs off on my baby's shoes. Directions say "No Machine Wash"
Overall opinion -- We got this because it wasn't so froo-frooey but the bottom line is that it's a real pain and we're not happy with it.
