I bought this camera last week (mostly for my band's website) because of the reasonable price for all of the features. Having only used it once, I can't comment on all of the features, but, so far it's great. Very easy to use. The "Easy Mode" takes great pics in many different lighting situations. (Outside - inside with / without house lights - stage lighting.) Had I used the different "Best Shot" modes, I may have gotten even better results. (I'll play with those later.) Video looks great, as well. The audio portion of the video was mixed. People talking - OK. Band playing - not so much. (The room that we played was acoustically terrible, and the band's volume was too much for the built in mic.) May have sounded better if we had played outside or in a better room. Battery took 85 pics (mostly with flash) and about 30 minutes or more of video, plus showing everyone how great the pics looked, before needing recharged. No one was disappointed.

I'm not technology savvy by any means. I chose this camera mainly because of the name and the size and I am so happy with my purcase. This camera is so easy to use. The pic quality is phenomenal. Text & software user's guide are very easy to understand. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a new one. Plus the price is great!!!

When I first was introduced to this camera at the store, I was happy with the features. But not as happy when I finally got my chance to try it out. The pictures were blurry, to the point where I literally took the camera and smashed it on the table. The camera survived, though, I guess I'll give that as a plus.
The still pictures that I was hoping to savor came out as blurry & the flash was terrible. I DO NOT reccomend this camera at all.
If anything, you should buy a Canon. I bought one to replace this old piece of ______, and I am SO HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS!!

Bought one and used it only a few times before the zoom feature quit working and the lens woudn't retract. Took it back and got another one thinking it was a fluke. The next one wouldn't focus and took horribly blurry pictures. I'll never buy another Casio product.
