{I reviewed both the changing table & crib in one}

We ordered the crib & changing table over a month ago, got it quickly, but didn't put it together until this weekend. I was worried about the quality of the products after reading some reviews on target's site, but I need not have. Both pieces are well designed and decently built. They are sturdy and at least a step up from [another retailer's] quality.

I wouldn't call the wood stain "orangey" (like the previous reviewer), but it's definitely a lot darker than the picture. Note also that the drawers on the crib aren't the full width of the crib (they are approx. 3/4 the width of the crib), and that you need a bed skirt for the crib. The crib side doesn't lower either, although the mattress height is adjustable. The changing table drawers are exactly as pictured and roll smoothly. You can lift up the changing section from the front.

The assembly was definitely a bit of PITA, but got easier by the second piece (we did the changing table first, then the crib). It took us approx 5 hours to do both (with some breaks!). The instructions are easy to understand and every piece is well labeled. I didn't have any problems with defects or missing pieces.

At this price point, the pieces are definitely good quality and I'm sure will last a long time. If you are looking for a more modern style of baby furniture, but don't want to shell out big bucks for oeuf or stokke sets, then I would certainly recommend this.

We recently bought both this along with the Silver Lake crib and are completely happy with both items.
The wood tone is a great color, all pieces arrived in perfect shape and it was very easy to put together. It's a very stable dresser and the drawers slide in and out with ease. Love the fact that the changing table can easily be removed from the top to turn into a regular dresser without leaving any visible holes, etc (it's attached at the back).
I was leery about ordering this after seeing the minimal (and somewhat scathing) reviews, but we're completely satisfied with this item- great price, style and quality!

For the price, I didn't expect a particularly high quality piece or finish. I got what I expected. It's pretty cheap but meets my needs for a basement playroom.

What I did not expect was how poorly packed and damaged the piece would arrive. The first one came with pieces broken off the face the drawers and a topper that was cracked in two places. The Target customer service agent told me that I could not get replacement parts; I would need to return the item and get and entirely new table.

When I received the replacement, I opened the box to find yet another cracked / unusable topper. I just got off the phone with Target, who has now directed me to contact the manufacturer to request a replacement part.

I'm hoping the manufacturer responds promptly, so I have a new changing table when my twins arrive! The time I've invested in the multiple returns is been ridiculous and could have been avoided if the shipping package had been properly designed.
