This item can make tiny cuts into your ipod. If it has little tiny protrusions on the inside off the case it can put hole like cuts into your ipod. I got one and I thought it was fine but one day i took it off and there were tiny dots on the outside of my ipod from my case, if you don't mind tiny nicks in your ipod then this product is right for you but if you like your ipod perfect then this is not the right item for you, you are better off getting a soft case.

I don't know what the joker below was talking about. I've been using this case for 4 months and haven't seen a single scratch. It's awesome for showing off the color of your ipod while protecting it from the cruel outside world.
